I'd been fighting with it for a while, but just a couple of weeks ago, it felt like my anorexia just vanished. With how long it's been, I've been worried that it'll come back harder than ever before. It's like I can feel her sitting on the edge of my mind, just waiting for me to make a mistake, or for a stress trigger. I don't know if all this is a product of anxiety, or if I really need to be worried about it returning as fast as it left. All I want is to feel safe in my own mind.

as long as you're careful, it shouldn't come back, i hope.
just try not to worry about it as much.
btw op, i hope you're feeling better, good people such as you deserve to be ok.

In my experience if it doesnt "go away" by your mid 20s ish. Then it'll probably be like a a former smoker. You dont think about it much anymore, but when you do get the urge, it really sucks to resist it.

With a lot of time and investment. Seek professional help from doctor.

Doesn't go away, but the effects may. It's a mental bias, those never really go away
