I was practicing my social skills, and I spoke with this one stranger... He got really attached to me real fast.
The first day was okay, but afterwards he kept texting me ALL THE TIME to hang out or talk... I hung out with him a few more times out of kindness, and a bit of pity, but it became too much for me in less than a week.
I spoke with him and set-up some boundaries, but I realized that I just really had no interest in talking to him. We later ended the friendship.

I felt like an asshole because he was just kind of autistic and we had nothing in common, but he wasn't really a bad guy, just annoying.
It was a bad idea to practice my social skills with someone I wasn't interested in...
To be clear, I wasn't flirting with him, nor anything like that, I was just showing interest in him as a person, listening, asking questions, that kinda thing.

Ikr. I still do it because I don’t see myself as having enough to make the people I like like me, so I need a safety net, and also I want to be nice, but it’s draining, and they get jealous of each other. Well- you learned something! Practice successful!
