Smoke weed for a few days and then stop. The dreams are not always pleasant, but they are definitely intense and weird.

eat a lot before bed. If you go to sleep on a very full stomach, your body will begin digestion at an awkward angle and you'll begin suffering some heartburns or stomach aches... BUT if you are asleep during this, your dreams will be affected and to me this usually leads to crazy fever dreams. You will hate yourself the next morning tho.

Write your dreams when you wake up. You might have had crazy dreams but don't remember it, but getting used to writing them help make my dreams more vivid and memorable.

If I'm sleep deprived I have really bizarre, but fleshed-out and substantive dreams. Sometimes they end in a rather miserable fashion, though.

I had some crazy dreams after watching Satoshi Kon movies. So maybe watching something intense might help? Also writing your dreams down in general will help you remember once you wake up. Your subconscious self speaks to you in images so watching/reading/playing media with a lots of strong imagery helps incorporate new concepts to dream about. I heard spicy food helps too but go easy on it so it doesn't ruin your ability to sleep in the first place.

Oh and listening to music helps too! If you listen to boss bgm from a game or a song that played during a emotional scene from a movie that might help as well. Just remember to give yourself some time (like on the weekend or a day off) to sleep as long as you like and you'll have several dreams so one of them will likely be crazy. Best of luck, g/u/rl! Once you start remembering your dreams, they like to drift into your waking life as well XD But usually it's super fun!
