Once, I drew some colored scribbles of some humans around a bonfire admiring the stars in the nightsky, and I everytime I remember that feeling that OP described

Awesome. Do you still have the drawing? I remember one time I drew on psychedelics and the people I tripped with was all supportive like but when when woke up the next day we laughed at how hella basic it was. I still remember how I felt while drawing it though.

Sometimes I do it because I feel silly, sometimes because sad, sometimes because I want this character or scene to exist...
I once even drew something crying my eyes out, for someone that had recently died. I drew their OC leaving to the world they would rather inhabit.
But I'm not a big artist, I dont even have "a following", and I think most artists like me are the same.
