| Speaking from experience as a former lice removal technician: you need to be THOROUGH. Missing even one nit (lice egg) or bug WILL result in reinfection. Straighten the hair using a brush and/or comb. Then wet hair and use conditioner with a lice comb for at least 15-40 minutes depending on severity. Repeat all this 10-14 days later - newly laid nits may not be big enough to be combed out when you first do it.
