I stopped eating sweets when not with others 2 days ago! Currently 165 pounds, weighing myself every morning. Want to get to 150 by next year. Weight hasn’t changed yet. Let’s not be tubby together!

I had a buncha rolls last night because I was hungy. Need to learn to eat beans or smth lower calorie w more nutrition instead

I don't actually know my weight and it's been a while since the last time I weighed myself. I was thinking of trying to eat smaller meals but then I'll probably snack a lot. But then I could just snack on fruits like apples and oranges and maybe that'll satisfy me and be okay? I'm trying to motivate myself to get on the treadmill and jog. I know I should also lift weights to be healthy but I've never used barbells before and thinking about working out is already unappealing as is.

>>1059252 I think replacing the bad stuff in the diet is really important. I was overweight when I was a kid and stopped drinking soda and eating dessert and it fixed things. Exercise seems like punishment that mentally exhausts people a lot of the time, I jog but only at a comfortable pace and feel really good after, I think that should be the goal- to make it a new hobby, not something unpleasant

And I think you should start weighing yourself so you can track things. Maybe we can aim for 1 pound this week!? So I better be at or below 159 pounds pretty constantly on June 13th and you can lose 1 pound from your current weight by then too! We’re going to have to sustain this stuff the rest of our lives if we want to maintain the bodies they give us, so important to be realistic in it

Oh I straight up do not have a scale. Wonder if there's one at my local gym. Goodness I'm gonna have to give up on my ice cream then.

Awww ur lovely too gurl! But yeah- the point is to give ourselves better lives, not some short term effort which will be erased. Maybe you can have tea or something instead of ice cream, and have it on birthdays or something like that. You can buy scales at the thrift store very cheaply used. Ok eepy nini- sleep deprivation also contributes to metabolic syndrome!

>>1059466 Omg u went?!! I haven’t posted because I felt bad I hadn’t gone since my post, but I actually went yesterday :)
Usually running with an upset stomach makes me feel much worse, and that was somewhat true yesterday, but after I still felt very good :)
let’s see my weight- 74 kilos still. I’m going to start logging my food with calories . I had some creamy sauce yesterday and ate when I wasn’t super hungry, mistakes perhaps.

>>1059557 I was more just bumping the thread. Hmm I should probably start logging calories too. At least it's been a few days since I had ice cream and these oranges are sufficing for sweetness! Did buy some kefir though, not sure if that's healthy but I was craving a cold drink for the summer weather.

Awesome awesome gurl!!! I have 2 pocket notebooks in my back pockets- one that’s my diary, and one is my food diary- I made columns for food, mass, calories, and total calories. I’m aiming for 1500kcal rn but I’m guessing I use more, I guess I’ll target .75kg a week and increase/ decrease based on that. First day of it! I’m already at 1200kcal after a big brunch of pasta and some cranberry sauce. I’m wary of drinking calories, but I used to drink a lot of kefir ;)

I also need to change from 1% to skim milk probably, though I know some fat is important.

( ^ω^ ) U make me blush gurl! Today was my first day eating 1500kcal. I just got back from my run and I’m still hungry. I had Saurkraut to fill my stomach a little and I’m going to go to bed. Oooh just did a calculator and it says I use about 2300kcal per day. Idk I feel kinda silly raising it because I got hungry but also I kept saying ‘this needs to be the rest of our lives’ xD https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/weight-loss/in-depth/calorie-calculator/itt-20402304

>>1059706 Maybe your estrogen levels are low? Might be worth getting them checked! I think stress and alcohol consumption can also put fat there :<
Ok so I felt kinda hungry today and thought about food a lot, but in a weird way it made me feel sharp too. I enjoyed my food more too. The saurkraut tastes sweeter and pretty good now!
It seems like basically healthy foods less than 2kcal/g and the best foods are under 1kcal/gram.

I want to have oatmeal tomorrow- it’s only 0.88kcal/gram! I don’t think I’ve had any whole grains since I started this. But my bread is 2.4 kcal/gram- gah! Oh I guess I had my pasta with chickpeas in it. >>5cfaca How are you feeling cutie? It can be hard <3
Ok running c ya!

Sweet beverages are a very large part of being... large Bread/pasta is really bad too! Alcohol is literally toxic bread juice.
I lost 100kg in the last 4 years by ONLY cutting out soda+bread. I still eat candy and sweets, But I eat burgers with lettuce instead of a bun, for example.
Also, apparently if you cook pasta, dry it, and then cook it again, it halves the carb count! When I crave pasta, that's what I do. It has the same texture, but half the carbs!

I also added kefir and miso to my diet because I heard fermented foods can help as long as there's no alcohol content.
I feel like I have more energy and my adhd symptoms are less! Maybe this experience can help you guys too?
Just be warned... Probiotics are ALIVE!!! The included bacteria needs to breathe too! And when there's something in your gut breathing extra.... well, you'll be farting a lot extra! YUMMERS!
The gas goes away after about 3 months of regular consumption.

I think 2-3 years ago I went down from 91 to around 66 while being a hermit via basically cutting out junk food and barely eating any carbs and fruit. I've started eat more carbs, and so now I've slowly tricking up around 74-77 in 2025 . I don't really buy bread or rice, but I keep being given it by people which I know is stuff That I immediately binge regardless of it's enriched or not.

>>1059733 lmao yeah. If I was hungry in the night, I would make grilled cheese and I would just keep making more bc they wouldn't make me feel full.

>>1059728 Omg!!! That’s seriously amazing. >>1059733 I have I loved bread, but I think I’m going to try to only eat oatmeal or bread I make myself that’s under 150kcal/gram, if that’s possible. I’ve had a whole loaf multiple times. It’s too tasty for what I’m adapted for
I felt weak on my run but I never stopped, though I went really slow, and had more chicken when I got home, probably still at a deficit today, don’t even regret it, still want more. Might eat more I’m so hungry.

I think I’ll raise my calories per day again to 1800. I’ll stop with juice too. It’s been tempting me but It’s another hyperprocessed thing I didn’t adapt to regulate.
I can’t believe that about pasta! I wonder if it really works by making you cook it less and think longer before eating it or something ;) I thought it was mostly sugars anyway!
I’ll be putting miso and kefir on my list! Thank you :)
I feel more focused too I think and less adhd but mostly on being hungry T_T

Cut bread and eat more chicken! Fish is good too! Doesn't even matter how many calories of protein+beans that you eat if you're exercising, since it's all protein and fiber! Basically none of it will convert to fat, and you'll either be making really stinky poops or gaining lots of muscle weight!
Those movie stars eat like 5 rotisserie chickens a day to keep themselves looking super muscular. They lose all that weight too!

Also, you'll want to buy and use these daily: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CLBQ2CB7/ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07YYYSHVB/ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IMDR5Y0/ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C69Z5LSP/
They're super gentle on your skin and will help make the stretch marks go away! They smell nice too.

I asked chatGTP about getting rid of wrinkles and it said it takes time and retinol helps https://www.neutrogena.com/the-bar/what-is-retinol-anti-wrinkle-cream Found this but I still gotta read it! But I *do* need good skin care hmmmmm thank u I had my plain oatmeal n finished saurkraut today- I’m glad I can fill up without high calories, but I didn’t log
