i want her job so bad bcus i know i could be such a better manager but its nepotistic and somewhat corrupt union (whatever ill take it i guess) and shes been there 15 years already and doesnt look like shes retiring anytime soon. its whatever, im sticking around for the full benefits come 2026, and if that gets me closer to the seat of power, all the better

Ohhh that’s a shame. I think a lot of people who don’t have any future direction in their jobs tend to go a little crazy n aggressive. I hope you’ll keep your heart when you’re in her position. I hope jobsearch chan is doing ok, I still think it was cool she worked at a bar for a little, I bet you’d be a good mentor.

| hiiii Job-chan here, giddy and exhausted after a 13 hour wedding shift...best part was getting slightly dressed down and micromanaged by my manager throughout, including during service and within earshot of guests which is so wholly unprofessional...anyways, the wedding being with us was last minute because their planned event hall actually abruptly closed down last week and I made it clear to the bride i would bend over backwards to make her night perfect. she left glowing~
