danger/u/
How do yall get to danger/u/?

| Do yall just have the website booked marked or do some of yall still have the la/u/ncher app?

-Toxie

| La/u/ncher app on my (android 5) flip phone. And at home i just type 'd' and firefox's first suggestion will be this website.

| I just type dangeru.us and come back here, I been coming here since va11 launched and the site had only /u/.
I kind of miss when the site was only /u/, it was unique and very in-tone with the game.

Doubt

| >>1053746 let me guess: it's sharp 601sh?

| >>1053804 kyocera kyf31, bought it back in 2018.

| >>1053807
Do you answer your calls in a cool way though

| still use the app

| >>1053811 I guess so?

| Saw it on the front page of fdroid back in the day and recognized the icon from my (at the time) recent playthrough of VA-11 Hall-A. Really liked the vibes and having a thread watcher and it got me used to the flow of imageboards and textboards. Think back to this place every couple of years. I tried installing the app on my current phone but it doesn't run which is a shame cause I liked the music app for playing the game's ost and that Augmented Eye app that still gets comments?

| It’s my most used bookmark on my phone web browser!

| >>1053819
Oh yeah? Prove it then. If you use two hands to open a flip phone you're not doing it in a cool way.

| >>1053807 oh, this one is lovely too. I actually use the sharp aquos 601sh, a friend of mine gifted it to me about a year ago. I even managed to install things like telegram, newpipe and aurora store there (although telegram is very inconvenient to use and it drains battery quickly). Although tbh I would like a more "square" model, preferably in purple (to enter full moeka SHAININGU FINGAA mode).

| >>1053843 I usually use one hand, also, the sharp ones have a button on the side to activate automatic spring loaded opening action.

>>1053846 I used to have telegram-foss on it as well, but that was like 5 years ago, when the app wasn't as bloated (both in UI and memory footprint). I recently tried signal on it but it prevents the phone from sleeping so I'm stuck on oldskool sms.

| Both.

| >>1053851 you can try Telegram X (since FOSS now requires android 6.0 afaik). I googled, our phones both have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 210, so in theory the performance should be the same as on mine. Of course it feels that the application is a bit sluggish, and when you open it after a break of a couple of days it needs about 30-60 seconds to update all the chats, but in general it's usable.

| But you also need to keep in mind that most likely with today's style of chatting, typing on the t9 keyboard will probably be really tedious, and you'll still be sending short, dry, informative messages (which might look weird to some people)

| la/u/ncher here
stumbled on it while looking through f-droid

| >>1053851
Ok yeah that IS cool

>>1053866
I had some kind of cache bug with the launcher so I went back to librewolf

| I use both. App for phone, bookmark for pc

| la/u/ncher
too bad the app was booted from google play but luckily it's on fdroid

| open anon tab then type the full name dangeru.us

| >>1053769
It's ok i have no way to prove it any ways

| I do not connect to web sites from my own machine. I fetch web pages from other sites by sending mail to a program (see https://git.savannah.gnu.org/git/womb/hacks.git) that fetches them, much like wget, and then mails them back to me. Then I look at them using a web browser in offline mode, unless it is easy to see the text in the HTML page directly. I usually try lynx first, then a graphical browser if the page needs it.

| >>1053855 Telegram-foss hasn't been updated since july 2024, Mercurygram, or rather Forkgram appear to be still updated. All require 4.4 and up.

But for me there is no need to have telegram on my phone, I enjoy the quiet when I'm outside.

| The app, can't remember how I even found it
