>>1051945 Yep quite good but rather the G shock versions.
>>1051963 Oh I was planning on Casio too, DW5600MS for example or more expensiver versions!

>>1051972 Oh that one looks pretty cool! I specifically want a watch that also has a stepcounter, so that's how I ended up on the LWS2200H.

I mostly wear a casio for work, but I have a soviet raketa watch from my father that I wear on off days.

>>1051922 f-91w, got those because it's a meme, they're really nice but the backlight is absolute shit. fortunately for me I usually sleep at nights, and you can see the numbers pretty well even if there's just some ambient lightning, so it mostly works for me. but yeah backlight is still an absolute shit so if you need a watch with a decent one, go for f-105w, or w-86.

Op here >>1052191 uu how great! I would like to wear a soviet watch too... They are pretty cool.
>>1052211 nah, I just hate the look of that watch, rather the g shock versions. Im more into functionality than the looks, gshocks are that imo.

Soviet watch guy >>1052234 Honestly, the biggest reason I like it is because all the mechanisms are super simple and easy to fix, and it has this cute star map that rotates with the phases of the moon. I don't know how accurate it is, but I love the way it looks. Plus it's compact and I despise big clunky watches, hence the casios.

On the subject of (post)soviet watchest: a few years ago I wanted to get one of these: https://i.ibb.co/XZbnZY4m/elektronika-53v.jpg (catbox.moe is currently down for me), but since I already have a casio I didnt bother.

>>1052295 WOW, You have to show me a picture and model. Pronto! As an engineer I love me some simplicity too!
>>1052311 Oh yeaaah, the soviet casio watches lol. Also I forgot to say something about your model, is step counting that important? I am a rather active person but never understood the need of a step counter.

>>1052324 I had a f91w, but switched to smart watch a few years ago. But at this point I'm not using the smart functionality anymore except for the step counter. The watch lasts a lot longer on battery now, but I kinda want to just go back to a non-smart watch. The stepcounter is kind of important to me, I enjoy seeing the number go up and try to meet my goal each day as I try to be more active.

>>1052234 yeah, functionality is important, I agree. it's just that for me so basic model have everything I need.

>>1052324 lookup "raketa moon phase watch." There's two different versions that both look cool, the one I have is the blue starry background with white cutouts that function as the shadow over the moon. The other one is a more modern design with two circles that rotate around the watch, much cooler from an engineering perspective imo, but the one I have is just small and fun. I love starry shit.
