Thank you for your continued support of danger/u/. This notice is being published to inform you of a cybersecurity incident impacting danger/u/ and your data.
Early in the morning of April 1st 2025, our team noticed an unauthorized IP accessing danger/u/'s authentication servers. Through a rigorous investigation, we have determined that danger/u/ has been the victim of a data breach - one that has manipulated /burg/'s burg and angryburg counters.
The affected data also includes sensitive personal information, including danger/u/ usernames, password, Neopets account, nhentai favorites, and Social Security Number. In the case of Premium danger/pass/™ holders, the breached data includes your credit card information.
Shortly after our investigation, we were contacted by the hacker organization. They have set a ransom on the data of $10,000. We are accepting crowdfunded contributions towards this ransom at https://patreon.com/prefetcher, https://mmmm.moe/, http://gayretard.co/, or via snail mail in amounts less than $500 per envelope.
We apologize for this security oversight. Please know that we are doing everything in our power to harden our systems against hacks like these in the future.
