Killed a rat last night

| Smashed

| blood splash

| He who kilked it has to eat it

| I remember finding a mouse in a water reservoir of my old fridge. Ended up having to scrape it out with a knife.

| I talked to a girl who said she would never and boys should do that and I found that irresponsible. Even if it’s not petty to do I don’t think some people should get to look away from the costs of life

| Weirdly enough this is why people's takes on hunting kinda frustrates me. It's cruel as a sport, but just to get food, do the animal the honor of being there when it's over. I feel the same way about people who refuse to buy the live lobsters trapped in the grocery store tanks, but eat that shit up when they order it at some restaurant like they weren't boiling to death 5 minutes earlier. People want the privileges of brutality without confronting its existence.

| I guess I’ve felt that way too but maybe not having to confront the bad you do is healthy? It feels sick to celebrate it, of course. Like sometimes what we’re saying is an excuse to go ‘I kill I’m hardcore! This is ok!’ You know? Like if you’re against slavery but buy cotton clothes it’s going to be way easier for you psychologically to go further if you just buy the clothes than go there to whip them yourself and say ‘I am not a hypocrite.’

| To me there is a balance. Not to be ignored, not to be glorified. In both instances I'd argue the truth of the situation is distorted, and the victim's suffering is overlooked as a result. The focus shouldn't be on the product, nor the success or power of the actor, it should be on the pain of the receiver.
