I think it’s not smart to say to their face because it makes them feel different but if you’re talking about how they’re different, and the people you’re talking to are cool and in the group, you can be like ‘haha none of us need glasses unlike the japs because we aren’t rule following dummies!’ So like that is a context to use it

I’m not sure about how it bounces in my nous too much. I think iggies maybe is cuter- jiggies, whiggies friggies ruiggies. Hard to tell them apart if the national syllable is soft though higgies for Haitians sounds like jiggies.

| It should not be offensive or considered a slur at all. Like what, just because people used it during the war ages ago? It's just a good shorthand, a good contraction. Like, say the world suddenly went to war with Australians. People would keep saying, "those fucking Aussies," and I guess that word would become a slur too then after the Aussie war.
