And idk why you would want a "dual monitor" laptop. It's either so small that it's useless, or it's so big it defeats the point of a laptop being a laptop. Just get a desktop like a normal person.

And is totally fine combo have home workstation, and than "weaker" laptop with rtx etc. And some people need mobility and can't unplug/plug wires as they want to. Also 2D animation isn't that difficult and even simple chip as 840M with 4GB RAM can do simple Blender things. You can model it on laptop and than render on pc etc
