SSD scarcity?
| Spending on a single SSD is worth it unless you, as you say, hoard it. Why would you even do that though? I've got a guy who hoards data too, but he uses tapes, and those are way more cost efficient.

| And ssds were about double the cost of a HDD and you only really need like 256GB for boot drive and optionally 1tb for games you're activity playing
| So like 150-175 total
You'd get like 4-8tb in HDD for the price but if you don't hoard data the speed will benefit you more most likely

| The WD incident is said to be causing SSD price to spike up soon. Who's hoarding SSD before the storm? Not me for sure. I'll just recede into my HDD hole because SSD has always been unaffordable.
