Thoughts on W10 AME?
| W10 AME? never heard of it. To me it sounds like a windows system with some registry edits + some batch stuff. I think it will give the same results from earlier installs since it's the same system being installed (same system, same result. I guess).
I recommend GNU/linux mint with the cinnamon desktop environment. I think it's a good alternative, but depends on preference I suppose :P
| If you're going for lightness, XFCE (or a wm if you're leet) it's better in the GNU/Linux world.

Not a solution. Linus has root on your system. GNU bash developers or Systemd Devs have root. OS Vendor always has root.
I personally prefer Linus and GNU having root.
| Usually a Linux person but I don't care anymore. AME just works & seems to have most of the cancer stripped out (not that it's any good).
I also run software that can't be wine'd and don't know enough about computers to help make it wine-able, so fuck my face with pretty lace.

| I'm downloading it rn since W10 LTSC and Education keep fucking up on my laptop. It's insanity. AME seems cool since it doesn't need any adjustments and may be also lighter, who knows... I'm still on W7 atm.
