Why not become truly civilized and use free software instead? Software monopolies are entirely artificial. They have absolutely no technological advantages compared to free software. Those big IT companies only are successful because there are massive misunderstandings about the nature of information (especially software) by the lazy consumer masses and even more important by the ideologically blinded political/economical decision makers.

| Based on Microsoft's official requirements you need an internet connection to install Windows 11. This means people without internet access at home, especially in rural and poorer households, won't be able to use Windows 11.

Microsoft intends targetted advertising, monitor and control of content. Bittorrent clients have been listed as "unwanted".

my ryzen system has tpm 1.2 so if they don't reduce those requirements they're preventing lots of people from using it which seems counter to selling ads to as many people as they can, seems probable they'll reduce it or don't gain much from uses switching to 11 ad revenue wise

Also Microsoft seems to have a lot of interest in developers/programmers, since they have github and recently seem to be focused on expanding the windows store by allowing apps from other platforms [being one project they've stated], among other incentives.
