hello my fellow /g/entoomen. i had a question regarding G Suite. last year, when i was at university, they gave me a special google account for university, with gmail, google drive, meet, etc.
the juicy thing is that the google drive has no storage limits (but it has a daily download/upload quota). do you think it's alright if i use it for my personal stuff and backups (video game roms, movies, etc.)? should i encrypt files first (with gnupg)?

i mean, they made me sign an agreement that said that those services were for educational use only, i don't want to get my privileges revoked, but i figured that if i encrypt the files nobody will know.

I'd say it's a risky maneuver since they can revoke your access anytime. If you're just using it to transfer files around, go for it. But don't use it for long-term backup.
