I keep getting 0xc0000005 whenever opening an application. Tried reinstalling (Both W7 and W10) and I keep getting it whenever opening a vcredist install. What the hell is wrong? I tried swapping the RAM, HDD and nothing works.

Run a memtest in the BIOS to check your RAM, also detach all USB devices except for your mouse and keyboard. Try again. If it doesn't work use a linux live distro and use that a bit and see if it crashes too. If it does, try installing it and check with journalctl what went wrong or something.

>>722214 make sure that you are actually reinstalling windows. on summer i kept having a weird issue that disn't let me open the settings application or any modern metro UI windows app.
well, reinstalling did nothing dor me because it kept reusing the files that were causing the issue. make sure that you do a clean reinstall.
