I unironically use systemctl poweroff...

| ... becuse i think sudo shutdown now is too mainstream.
is there any security risk? it surprised me that poweroff can run without privileges, but i think it doesn't shut down if the superuset i logged in.

| If you wanna be hardcore when shutting your computer down you could go all out and
>sync
>unplug

jk don't do that

| Best way to shutdown is to shutdown your house electricity.

| Shutdown your computer by calling your power company and asking them to stop doing business with you.

| Have you tried salt water? works 1/1 times

| >inb4 what's wrong with normal water?
it's too mainstream
(i actually have no idea if theres any issues with it, arch doesn need sudo for shutdown, i just came here to make the joke)

| All your tips are bullshit. Why are you turning on pc in the first place?

| Personally when I give a hard slam to my computer it shuts down immediately. Most effective way imo

| Or do it Louis Rossmann style and just rip the power circuitry off the mainboard. That's a guaranteed way to shutdown your computer.

i've never used sync and i've been unplugging all this time

Maybe nothing is buffered on your system so you don't realize...
Wouldn't that be a pretty unresponsive system
(。ŏ_ŏ) ?

idk Albanian bro, i've been doing this for years. my computer is old as fuck too and i'm too broke to get a replacement

| >>688637
I KNEW IT

| I mean I didn't know that you're broke ;_;

| That's very saddening
