hmm can't find anything :( it says pixel de is based on lxde, so maybe you could try a basic lxde install and try to add theme files to make it look like pixel.

>>687082 no but I like the DE itself and it's lightweight. Perfect for my C2D P8600 laptop.

The PIXEL DE is just LXDE with tweaks sprinkled around it. All you need to probably have is the fontconfig used (AFAIK Infinality was gutted so you'll need to look up another option), the Roboto font, the icons, the shutdown screen (replaceable with Plymouth) and the theme itself. That's it. It's as easy as copy-pasting dotfiles.

good afternoon good sir ever heard about the fine desktop environment known as lxde (which stands for lightweight x11 desktop environment, obviously). it's a lightweight yet full-featured modern and customizable desktop environment based on the openbox wi dow manager. *slaps rooftop of desktop environment* this bad boy can fit so many x windows in it! its ram and cpu usage is so low you won't even notice it! note: this shitpost is not affiliated with The LXDE Team (tm)
