Being socially capable enough to work as a Barista is pretty cool but it's certainly not useless. I'd say it's extremely useful and you should feel proud.
It's not very tech related though.

When my grandfather died, my family and I found out he paid a monthly rent to the countries postal provider for a signal converting device in order to run his old wheel dialer phone. This way I learned the telecommunication infrastructure in my country was once owned by the public postal service.
