Apparently advertisements for Netflix content are being added into the end slate between programming when you watch something on Netflix. It doesn't seem to extend the end slate period between content, but it is an advertisement. Also, Netflix has said that they will be able to be skipped by users that do not like the content that is being advertised.
This doesn't seem to be nearly as much of a big deal as people made it out to be.

I'm not exactly understanding why they have to push their own content this much. If most users just watch The Office all the time, they're still getting the same amount of money. They're just hoping people will watch their shows so they don't have to pay other networks?
