Implying that you have no issues on MacOS or Windows...
As an admin 80% of working time is fixing issues on windows machines beginning with its miserable default configuration, going over fundamental design flaws (most prominent the lack of support for open standards) and ending with MS rotten update policies. Apple is surprisingly more standard friendly - at least on the desktop. For iOS I would never spend/waste a second.

There must be someone who customizes the isos, keeping them up-to date etc. I work with imaging solution, but here again linux is just waaay easier and reliable to customize/distribute.
Especially driver handling in an environment with diverse hardware is still hell on earth with windows. After 10 years not working with windows it suprised my recently that such things like the infamous "bluescreen" are still a thing.
| Working on a windows systems always feels clunky and slow. Find out what caused an issue is detective work. The *nix typically simple log files (or even the rotten journald) is thousand times superior and more convenient compared to windows default tools. The windows gui shell is broken and ineffient to the core leeching 5-10% CPU on an average 5 year old bureau machine when opening the start menu (Which is why i replace it with openshell)
| You need to install tons of additional tools and software to get basic things done but there is still no working central software installation system/package management. Yes, I know there are winget, chocolatey, etc. but they are still buggy and centred around too few repositories (and policies) to choose from.
| On top of that the Filesystem Hierarchy Standard (FHS) and the x-desktop standard, based on the simple "everything is a file" paradigm is in their simplicity so much superior and easier to handle than windows infamous "registry" and "group policies".
The user and filesystem permission management is superior too on *nix. Same is with the command line. Microsofts bloated default Power(s)hell is better than cmd.exe but still by far no match to any available POSIX conform shell.

I'd recommend KDE Neon as the hot shit for people coming from Windows, Ubuntu or Mint. Arch/Manjaroo may be better for more advanced users. And there's also SteamOS for people more focused on gaming/media consume.

I think you should. Install steam and run your favorite games trough proton and see how it runs. You can also prep a USB-stick with Linux and run it on your main PC.
