C vs Rust, which should I learn?

My bias is I never learned Rust. But I like C. Read function's documentation; It may return something of use
| C is a classic for a reason, rust is modern and tries to remove foot guns where possible
If it's just a hobby thing only recommendation is try em both and see which one you vibe with

I'm gonna get pretty heavy into programming and I'm really stuck between learning C or Rust, idk which one to pick.
I have a lot of history with hardware and I love old tech so I always end up programming in hex binary. But I think it's about time I learn something that's not binary.. so help me pick!
