It's good to hear the open source drivers are picking up steam now that Nvidia is being slightly less of a dick (of course it's after I switch to red)
Have you tried Nova / is it in a working state yet?

| I know right? I get better performances with 2D games on old hardware with the noveau drivers than the official ones but for newer 3D titles noveau still lags behind somewhat considering it'll only run your cards on its lowest clock speed.
