A vertical of power has collapsed. No one in Russia can feel safe anymore. Neither officials, nor oligarchs, nor FSB officers who used to think they were the rulers of life. Pitler stopped holding a monopoly on violence in Russia yesterday

Russia might be facing a bloody war, not a civil war, but a war of clans, armed groups and private armies: Chechens, Prigozhin's supporters, armed mercenaries, who will separate from Prigozhin or other PMCs and be hired by local clans for protection from invading outsiders. All large business and oligarchs will probably create (if they haven't already) private armies, as Gazprom has already done to protect itself.

Conflicts and redistribution of property will be resolved by force. It will be the new 90s but far worse.
The Russian army, it seems, has de facto ceased to exist as a united structure. Soldiers and officers sitting in trenches in the massacre unleashed by Pitler, probably finally realized yesterday the utter pointlessness of the war against Ukraine, agaist the background of the fact that a group of criminals in the rear can pass 600km in a day,

sweeping away everything in their path and then be amnestied after killing pilots and cilivians.
Prigozhin flicked the first domino yesterday and has revealed that there is no unity and no control at both the state and the military levels in Russia today.
This means that all the gung ho talk and all the threats to the west and to Ukraine are exactly what we trought they were, just endless rhetoric and propaganda.

I'm not sure it'll be as severe as you're painting it, OP. But it'll definetly get ugly before it gets better. I don't think Russia will ever fully bounce back though.
Prigozhin said he wanted to close the borders like north korea did. I really hope it'll never come to this. We still have russian friends visiting our gaming meet-ups and it would be a shame not to be able to see them again.

Love how Russia changed the narrative in the span of 24 hours. First Prigozhin is the good guy, then he is a evil terrorist who needs to be stopped, and then he is once more the good guy. Literally, I can't stress this enough, literally 1984.

>>07641a As if in other countries this is not a constant practice. The situation with Johnny Dep is an example of this. First he is a good guy and an actor, then a scum and an abuser, and now he is a good guy again. Take off your rose-colored glasses. The world is more cruel than you imagined in your fantasies. And on such news, the press makes traffic, views and likes, and, accordingly, money

>>961126 G/u/rl you are comparing gossip press level celebrity drama to official state position on an actively employed and fighting mercenary group.
