None of those things "lost meaning". There are pretty clear, fine and neutral definitions. It's just extremists that try to push their own biased definitions - and these days it's in quantity and quality mostly done by political right forces (unless you live in cuba, venezuela, china, northkorea or vietnam and count them as "leftists")

Neither the left nor the right are radicalized. They do and say the same stuff they did before - being partially right or wrong.
It's the global social-economic and ecological issues that radicalized in order of right-wing economical politics (=pro capitalist) disguised as "centrist" by adding some unsustainable left-liberal culture politics on top.
Under those circumstances the right and the left gained popularity and started pushing each other thereafter.

Also your comparison between (early) NSDAP and (todays) antifa is quite ridiculous. Never heard of antifas, where ethnical/religious minorities and internationalist, pacifist, anarchist, communist and socialist opposition were hunted down and raided.
And the NSDAP was actually a hierarchical organized institution supported partially by influential economical and political elites.
