Canada, in contrast to its neighbor, shows that a former colony that became independent can develop into a civilized country. It may be due to the influence from a higher developed culture like France, which tamed the religious fundamentalists and angle-saxon land-robbers and slaveholders who dominated the development of the failed state called USA. Hopefully at some point the civilized nations of latin america, the EU and canada will liberate the worlds top terror state USA.

Modern leftist ideology is now just, whypeepol bad, we din du nuffns are good. Instead of what it used to be. Which was actually good union's and good economic practices.

>>1113164 Economic developed societies that are cultural underdeveloped or degenerated were and still are a real problem heavily underestimated by orthodox marxists. Fascism is the embodiment of such cultural degeneration and was and still is the biggest threat against overcoming capitalism and let societies progress to the historical next higher states of socialism and communism. Prominent examples for underestimating fascism were Stalin, Mao the Kim dynasty with their regimes.

>>1113171 Fascist lies, spread from the bourgeois political "centre" and financed by some billionaires, shattered workers union. Unionism is barely a political power factor in societies that deify egoistic individualism. People were brought to a state where they feel alone, worthless and isolated, only dreaming about becoming famous and rich following false idols. The only solidarity that arises from there is not uniting them as a whole but separate them in antagonizing groups.

Those groups are entirely made up of backwarded ideas such as tribalism, religious fundamentalism, racism, nationalism, imperialism, sexism, etc.
Orthodox Marxists and Stalinists complain a lot about "liberals" and other leftists being their useful fools. In reality it's them who cooperate with fascists, sit on their lap and establish regimes that are in their outcome hardly distinguishable from fascist ones.

What we need is a progressive, anti-fascist and anti-capitalist alliance that includes (societal) liberals, working masses, socialists, social democrats, anarcho-syndicalists and communists. Infights are welcomed and important but it should stop where it helps fascist coming into or staying in power. Bourgeois failures, conservative or liberal, are not the main enemy. In worst case they sympathize with the fascist option, usually they are just stagnators and rarely they are useful.
Post number #1113243, ID: e27177

In such an alliance leftists should never see each others as enemies, no matter how fundamental their differences seem. A fair competition without intrigues and alliances used for infights with the actual foes.

And you are right we are in a degenerate country, because niggers keep flooding it and ruining it by being subhumans. Poland is one of the few majority white countries that is growing economically. Why? Because they dont worship niggers

I love marxists archive. very nice easy to use site. https://www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1916/imp-hsc/ch10.htm It's too long so I'm just reading the last part. "We have seen that in its economic essence imperialism is monopoly capitalism" true, I think I heard part of the reason it fell was that the people making the money were not directly in the government, so the general people and governments saw imperialism as not worth it, or something.
Post number #1113306, ID: 3bdd24

But also couldn't it be feudalism? Like the mongols kinda imperialismed china, they took a bunch of stuff, and put their people at the top of society, and integrated it with the international economy more. that looks like imperialism to me.
I think the phenomena he's talking about is a sub-case of :when things are growing fast and more labor means lots more money, to spread rewards evenly, but once the market fills, it turns into just fighting over the money/centralization.

"makes it economically possible for them to bribe certain sections of the workers, and for a time a fairly considerable minority of them, and win them to the side of the bourgeoisie of a given industry or given nation against all the others" This is the core problem with fighting for the majority. Not totally impossible to address, but it's the key thing, and not possible to totally solve.

"when these products are distributed according to a single plan among tens and hundreds of millions of consumers (the marketing of oil in America and Germany by the American oil trust)—then it becomes evident that we have socialisation of production, and not mere "interlocking", that private economic and private property relations constitute a shell which no longer fits its contents, a shell which must inevitably decay"

He was wrong. Mcdonalds still uses franchises. Amazon uses little delivery companies which are basically gloves with their hand inside them. Centralization and market competition are always in competition, but one isn't totally victorious, at least looking around. there are even different police departments in one province.

>>1113297 Wasn't it lenin who was paid with tons of gold from imperialist germany to make his revolution? oO Alliances with liberals and conservatives aren't necessarily "corrupt" the socialist/communist cause. Alliances with fascists on the other hand... When Stalin came into power they could have used lenins corpse rotation to not only supply the need for electricity in the USSR but the whole world.

Lenin was with no doubt a brilliant revolution theorist and successful revolutionary. But his imperialism theory, while not being entirely wrong, were incomplete and had some serious flaws.

>>1114126 What you describe is called wage dumping through immigration - which IS a thing, yes. However it's not the only and by far not the most relevant factor (offshoring). Additionally immigrants usually do the really dirty work, which locals don't want to do anymore. Ironically most people who are anti-immigration aren't able to clean their asses by themselves without help of immigrants. Xenophobia is rather a sign of conformism and decadence instead of resistance and virtue.

>>1114126 >because it works The question is not if it works, but how it works and who benefits from it. >and made the best civilizations in human history, Capitialism is a global economic system. It doesn't "make civilizations". The "best civilizations" are those that managed to restrict and tame capitalism to some point. Unfortunately it turns out most of them just managed to offshore the problems geographically and/or temporal.

>>1114451 >supposed inherent work ethic, or natives' lack thereof It may be hard for you, but you should grow up and stop believe in the conservatives myth of people decide or act primarily based on "ethics". It's the social-economical circumstances/reality that matters most.

>>1114452 i am challenging the one point of moralist garbage in your otherwise half-decent analysis and you hit me with the "social-economical circumstances" yeah buddy, what are those social-economical circumstances? is it perhaps the exploitation inherent to being an immigrant? is it perhaps that we should not do that? how close you get and how eager you are to turn around at the last moment are the most annoying things about you
Post number #1114454, ID: e27177

>>1114453 Exploitation is inherent to capitalism. The social-economic circumstance/reality we have is a global operating exploitative capitalist class and an exploited global working class, which is divided by historical grown and artificially maintained or entirely constructed borders. Even the most prosperous liberal democracy depends on exploitation of people and environment in poorer nations and they eventually benefit from corrupt dictatorships.
Post number #1114457, ID: e27177

Of course people from poorer countries that suffer from exploitation, wars and corrupt dictators will try to find a way to a place that is supposed to be better. And of course their social-economic background makes it more likely for them to end up having more shitty jobs when they emigrate compared to the resident population. This issue should be resolved by fighting the division of the working class, not by increasing it.
Post number #1114459, ID: e27177

Unionism and worker-friendly politics including welfare programmes and integration alongside paired with a constructive and fair policy towards poorer development countries is solution. Building walls and bombing other countries is no solution. It's repeating the failures that were continuously made in the last decades, only making things worse.
