To be fair: Not all positive things were intentional. Some of them were a result of the self made but totally unwanted economical flaws of the centralized planned economy. The lack of cheap mass consumer goods was a serious problem and an annoyance, sure. I suggest to split germany and distribute the parts across its neighbours immediately:
- South-Western Germany goes to France and Switzerland
- South-Eastern Germany (bavaria) goes to Austria
- The north goes to Denmark
- The East goes to Poland/Tzchech
Saxony-Anhalt should become immediately russian protectorate, controlled by chechenian muslims.
Large Cities/Metropole regions should eventually found and join an independent, transeuropean, union.
