The videos are only posted on russian social media so the point of uploading the videos obviously isn't about inflicting fear.
Is it about grifting? There's speculation that they're uploading the videos to raise capital for the drone factories by marketing to the hateful and brainwashed. If that's the case, russia is the only county in the world where that would fly.
I can't fathom why a country would document their own terrorist activities and war crimes.

Why you expect the russian regime play by rules made by people who violated them multiple times in the past without consequences?
I don't like the russian regime at all, but I also don't like the western bigotry about it. I mean, isn't this exactly what they wanted from the beginning of the revolution: Abolishing socialism in favor of capitalism, which means oligarchy, imperalism, nazism and war. You can find both in Russia and Ukraine.
