| In response to employees speaking out, Musk's aides locked civil servants out of computer systems and offices, with reports of personal items being searched.
Musk's literally not even in the government. Unless those staff members have both security clearances and need-to-know, they were engaging in espionage.

He does not have "read only" access, but high-level admin priviliges on a mainframe housing all the code.
