Us election

| Few days now and this is all going to be over. It's honestly been stressful seeing election stuff the last year and a half but here's hoping the maga cult and Leon Musk fucks off if they lose.

| If you're in the us be sure to vote. As the old saying goes "You might not want to do politics but politics is more than happy to do you."

| voted trump. i'll take my (you)s now

| I can't vote.

| HAHA skibidi imma vote the guy that got shot poggies hawk tuah such a sigma

| >>1031999 *fucks your mouth*

| >>1032003
yes you can!!! DON'T GIVE UP OR LET PEOPLE TELL YOU NO

| Musk likes rockets and brain chips and things though. I want them to stop this self harm stuff. They are not to be on the best path. Even if their trans daughter never accepts them back, even if they can’t transition, or they still hate communist lying or corruption, this is NOT who musk has to be. If you’re reading this musk, it takes a brave person to admit when your influences have led you astray!

| I still don’t like a lot of woke glorification of incompetence, but you need to get away from those scumbags and SMILE. And if you lose your friends over it, and you’re trying to build a shiny new world for happy loving people, whatever dirt they have in you, I will let you stay in my apartment! Pizzagate? That’s OK we all get misled by sexuality. Losing the twitter mob? They are NOT your real friends, and if you let me help you, I would shoot any one who shows up to mess with you!

| >>2e780e
why would you even type this?

| >>1032094 lmao rite

Who tf asked

| Politicians can do their best to try and control people by controlling policy. It's their job, after all.
But ultimately, in any political system you need to prepare for the worst outcome, and that means assuming the politics are not gonna help you no matter how well you articulate your opinion.

| And when that happens you need to grab some tools, prepare your mind and keep those fucking lights on.

| The politicians aren't gonna be in the working clothes, after all.

| >>1032103 I think Bidens done some good things and Harris will too. Elections are not Christmas, you don't get every single perfect thing you want nor does the work begin or end at elections.

| Israel support sucks but Trump will be a thousand times worse on countless issues and push the states towards hungary/russia style autocracy which will make organising difficult.

I know there are Palestine supporters wanting to throw votes away for a moral feel good virtue signal victory but pragmatism is important and being realistic.

There's no chance to push republicans on that issue if they get in.

| Then you have Jill whose clearly pro Pitler. You can't claim to be against one genocide but fine with the other unless your some Z simp, rightoid cultist or just try hard edgy.

| >>1032119 or a tankie I guess

| >>1032094
I typed it to stand up for what’s right and encourage musk and those like them to get better. Why would YOU be dismissive of such sentiment?
>>1032103
Good sentiment but I think at some point you can’t practically prepare for everything, and it’s best to rely on some level of government functioning so as to use the freed resources to excel in the world you’re most likely to live in. That means mostly becoming personally capable and spending some time on government

| >>1032135
because it's completely out of place. who tf asked for that shit?

| Fucking idiots try to put woman in power, now you got the T. Good luck fuckers

| Drumpf won
ZERO doolars for Ukraine >:(
One bazillion dooolars for Israel!! :D

| what a bunch of dumbasses... he even won the popular vote ffs! after all that hate and lies he spread about asians eating pets the asian demographic still flocked to him?? lol wtf

| “People on the side of The People always ended up disappointed, in any case. They found that The People tended not to be grateful or appreciative or forward-thinking or obedient. The People tended to be small-minded and conservative and not very clever and were even distrustful of cleverness. And so the children of the revolution were faced with the age-old problem: it wasn't that you had the wrong kind of government, which was obvious, but that you had the wrong kind of people.”

| - My favorite quote from Terry Pratchett's Discworld.

| >>1032119 who is jill

| Imagine being stupid enough to think you're vote matters or changes anything. You have two candidates and their policies are mostly the same. They just play to different non-issues like bathrooms and walls and people eating dogs, and other things that don't matter to anyone.

The only difference between Harris and Trump is that one is a career politican and the other is a TV celeb monkey wrench candidate.

America is like the late Roman Republic lol

| US g/u/rls, my fucking condolences;
RIP to you and sex that you could've had;

| Interesting thing for me is that he got about 3M less votes than in 2020. Harris has about 15M less than Biden had. He didn’t turn those voters, they just didn’t both to show up. I’d like to see in which districts those voters stayed home. Possible something a little fucky going on?

>>1032255
>being stupid enough to think you're vote matters
>you're vote
There’s a huge difference between the current day republican party and the demographic party. Educate yourself.

| >>1032116
I don't see such a huge difference between Harris and Trump. Its a strange election because there's been so little discussion of actual policy.

The only difference is that Trump's vague economic plans are insane, he's an obsessive tranny basher, and more likely to start a war with Iran.

| >>1032259
Harris: Wants to expand healthcare and make it more easily available for everyone.
Trump: Plans to repeal the ACA.

Kamala Harris: Supports higher taxes on the wealthy to fund social programs, advocate for a living wage, and promote economic equity.
Donald Trump: Lowered taxes through the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, with a focus on tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy.

| >>1032259
Kamala Harris: Wants to fight climate change, rejoin the Paris Accord and invest in renewable energy.

Donald Trump: Denies climate change, left the Paris Accord and rolled back many environmental regulations, prioritizing fossil fuel production.

Kamala Harris: Advocates for humane immigration policies and reforming the immigration system.
Donald Trump: Promoted strict immigration controls, including building a border wall.

| Without furthew enteweption wets celebwate and suck some disk

| >>1032259
Kamala Harris: Supports movements for racial and social justice, advocates for police reform, and emphasizes equity in economic policies.
Donald Trump: lol

Kamala Harris: Advocates for working with allies, and addressing global issues like climate change and pandemics.
Donald Trump: Emphasized an "America First" policy, focusing on bilateral agreements and often criticizing NATO and other international institutions. Got his own supporters killed during the pandemic.

| >>1032259
Kamala Harris: Supports stricter gun control measures, including universal background checks and banning assault weapons.
Donald Trump: Has generally aligned with the gun rights movement, advocating for the Second Amendment and resisting gun control measures.

| >>1032259
Kamala Harris: Supports increasing funding for public schools, advocating for student loan forgiveness, and making college more affordable.
Donald Trump: Promoted school choice and charter schools, with lower emphasis on federal funding for public education.

| Kamala Harris: Advocated for a science-based approach to pandemic response, emphasizing vaccines, public health guidelines, and economic support for affected individuals.
Donald Trump: His administration's response was characterized by a mix of support for vaccine development (Operation Warp Speed) while Trump himself tried to deny people the vaccine and encoured "alternate medicine"...

| >>98515c
Kamala Harris: Strongly supports reproductive rights, including access to abortion and women's health services.
Donald Trump: Has supported restrictions on abortion and has appointed judges who align with religious views on reproductive rights.

These two parties are not the same, not even close.

Educate yourself.

| And don't forget that Trump is a convicted felon, a rapist, a habitual liar and a grifter.

| The problem is a lot of these are talking points that touch on hot button issues but seem devoid of clearly outlined policies and strategies. Even if Harris had won, she would have been unable to move foreward with her legislative agenda thanks to Republicunt sabotage. The same problem Obomber and Biden have faced.

I'm not convinced of the argument that Harris is more moral than Trump or vice versa. Trump is just dangerously incompetant and a hate peddler. He's Milei but worse.

| Trump will destroy the US economy (probably the global economy too) with his tariff plans. He'll probably ban trans people and mass deport immigrants, collapsing the labor market. He'd purge the US federal government Milei style, leading to structural incompetance. He'd rubber stamp Netanyahu's ethnic cleansing programs.

Harris would just be more of Biden combined with a return to neocon foreign policy and support for Bibi's genocide and more China bashing.

| >>1032246
This is really true. I wonder if people high in caring about others end up fighting for the people, but they're abnormal. You have to require people to help back so things go in a positive direction.

The thing is they DID achieve it over time. middle ages people were more closed minded than people today. ancient people were much more genocidal. rape has declined a LOT. It's just you won't be loved. gifts to the public are not repaid, but they do make a difference.

| You have to have others who care and support each other I think. Does anyone have a plan to positively change governments currently? Are the euros doing better and are there specific euro countries which are forging a better path to the future, and we could eventually ingratiate into?

Do you think we could just go for it and start a political party which fixes everyone's problems, like we could have trans people provide free childcare to the red state people.

| >>1032291
>middle ages people were more closed minded than people today. ancient people were much more genocidal.
This a myth, usually based on fudged satistics.

>>1032292
No politician wants to fix these problems. Politicans simply want re-election. Crisis is good for them. They create failures and exploit them for votes.

Liberal democracy is built on a myth: that the state is an insturment of the people. In practice, the people are just instruments for the government.

| >>1032293 i usually just tell people to kys when I use the app but I'll help add to the fudged statistics. Alive yourself

|

| América failed the Pitler misión to elect Cumala

| >>1032363 but succeeded his mission to elect Tramp

| All politicians are scum and should be turned into human fertilizer.
