Music i think appeals to a fundamental human experience, regardless of whether i enjoy it i can still arrive at an understanding of a emotional universality as to why people like it.
I have no clue with anime chipmunk music. Help.

I tend to like some music faster and slightly higher pitched. Chipmunk nightcore is garbage though But basically nightcore makes some musics I wouldn't listen to, better in my ears. In any case I usually listen to the original and pick the one I prefer, which can vary. And in any case it is a good way to discover music because people make nightcores of very various things

it's more nostalgia more than anything else at this point for me. i never really listened to nightcore before but now that it's become a thing of the past i listen to it since it reminds me of simpler times.

This is my personal taste, but most of the time, my ears "think' that a song is better when it's nightcore, I really like it.
However, nightcore can be done poorly, and there're different nightcore versions that you gotta compare to know which one is the better for you.
And of course, there're some songs that nightcore can't do them justice. Like "Diggy Diggy Hole"

>>505183 does it mess with your general music taste in anyway. Like do you listen to a track and think "imma drop this in audacity and fix this".
Do you lot watch videos at 2x speed by any chance.

>>775894 I do speed up videos. However I don't think it changes my taste in music as there are many I prefer to their nightcore equivalents, even slow ones. It's a case by case basis, not a general thing
