The Beatles are probably still, to this day, the greatest phenomenon music has ever seen.

they're both very cool bands, but i think since the beach boys had a longest span, they were able to experiment more with synths and musical technology. the beatles never did a record like Love You.

Hmm I acknowledge the beatles as this group of almost musical messiahs, but honestly, I'd rather listen to a bunch beach boys songs in a row than a bunch of beatles songs.

>>622980 good point. i think this applies more to the late beatles songs which often featured quite baroque arrangements. i enjoy listening to the pre-hippie wh*te rock 'n' roll beatles lps, A Hard Day's Night is definitely one of my favorites.
