| A mistake.

It seems like everyone on this website has some sort of autism and can't help but post useless replies.

| >>630073 I'm not wrong.

| Come oooonnn

| I'm getting impaaatiiieeeent

| Just tell me...

| Am I going crazy or does half the site not work?

| >>630491 what do you want to hear?

| >>630495 that I'm going crazy. the site looks pretty cool and I want in

| Probably something you should stay away from. Seems sus.

| Listen there are worse ways to go out than "I wanted to be a cyberpunk anime girl." ...probably.

| systemspace was a cyb suicide cult that turned out to have its entire belief system ripped out of an anime. total scam.

| >>630702 "turned out"? I mean... there is a huge picture of Lain on systemspace's homepage. It wasn't that big of a secret that this cult is connected with SEL...

| >>630751 Keep in mind you aren't browsing the original site.

So, the website we are still able to see is just a fan-recreation?

I attempted to register, almost worked and shut down as it tried to link to another website.

| >>630702 Wait are there any actually recorded suicides of this?

| I remember signing up back in 2017 but I was too antisocial to talk to anyone else so I just lurked. I remember the suicide rumors but idk if anyone actually did, I don't think any were confirmed

| Most people didn't use their real names, so it's hard to say. What we do know is that some people were never heard from again. So they either simultaneously decided to stop using all social media, or something else happened.

| can't get more dystopian than this shit

| I think all of us are on the fucking spectrum, some more high functioning than others.

| y'all trying to commit group suicide to go to anime heaven

| Systemspace, the website for the TSUKI project, was created by a teen schizophrenic (Tsuki Rep) who supposedly believed that the 'system' (Think of the system as a reality) we live in is unsustainable and everyone needs to relocate. The website caught traction after promising that people who signed up to be 'unlinked' through the site could leave the failing system through death (eventual and natural death works, suicide was dissuaded) to instead exist in a more stable, seemingly utopian state.

| The site itself was a marvel. It hosted chats, a textboard, pages and pages of information on the project and its narrative, not to mention stellar web design.
A countdown until the 'unlinking' was displayed on the front page, alongside a prompt to register. Some assumed that the site suggested that people should actively kill themselves, and subsequently branded the whole thing as the work of a suicide cult. Others saw the superficial Lain aesthetic on everything and branded it as an SEL cult.

| The countdown reached zero, and, for most of the internet, systemspace effectively disappeared. There was no information given anywhere, no updates, the discord was shortly after deleted, the creator stopped replying to emails, the site was updated but ceased to function as before. Eventually the updated site was also deleted.

| During the period of the countdown, a lot of information that harmed the reputation of the project was found in the TSUKI project discord and by an investigative group. The most significant being that the TSUKI project's narrative / lore is ripped almost directly from a virtual novel called Rewrite, a game Tsuki Rep often took music from.

| Alongside this were seeming debunkings of Tsuki rep's practices, blackmail, Tsuki rep's most trusted admin temporarily hijacking the site and discord, leaking all sorts of data and doxing over 5000 project applicants.
Several applicants had supposedly comitted suicide without mentioning the site, with one confirmed suicide linked to Systemspace.

Apollobase, an "uncensored news outlet about Systemspace" and the major investigative group: https://apollobase.neocities.org/index.html

| The archivist hero at https://systemspace.network/ has an almost functional backup of both the updated site (https://new.systemspace.network/) and the old site (https://classic.systemspace.network/).

| Considering that Systemspace only started with 300 applicant spaces, it's safe to assume that the whole project started as the work of Tsuki rep's imagination funnelled into a cute web project that exploded in scale and spiralled out of control.

| Damn. That's kinda sick actually.

| Man I wish I knew about this when it was live. Then I'd have a half decent reason to kill myself.
