I'm noticing people talking about living in pods and that it's apparently an trend due to some housing affordability problem in california
Basically, they are tiny houses that should be enough for a minimalist person. What do you think about them?

most places offering "pod housing" seem to be communal living spaces. while I'd be okay with living in a two room house or apartment, that's a little too crowded for me

i think i only really would if it came down to it, the current concern with it for me is the privacy aspect.
i wouldn't particularly mind having a small spot like that for myself, but the way they show them currently looks like it's also a giant privacy violation.

forgot to add how fucking dystopian a part of this article reads https://futurism.com/people-love-pods-co-living-tattoos
“Being in LA for me has always been a dream for me,” said Daniel — otherwise known as “Podestrian #1770” — in one a testimonial from 2015.
identifying yourself as "podestrian 1770" seems like you're stripping yourself of that individuality.
