8 months into hrt:

| body has gone fully twinkmode and given me hips, ass, and tiny lil handfuls of titty

weewee has gotten a bit weewee, lost about an inch of length, it's a lot smoother and it feels almost but not quite painful (in an exciting way) when i get really hard, like it's getting too big for its size clearance. cumming feels so weird and good because it hits harder and i can like extend the sensation? if that makes sense?

only downside (upside?) is im super gay now lol

| like it's actually hard for me to see women as "hot" anymore unless i really try but if im just like gently caressing myself and thinking about a guy it gets me so fucking aroused it gives me shivers

| INTRODUCTION
1. The Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race. They have greatly increased the life-expectancy of those of us who live in "advanced" countries, but they have destabilized society, have made life unfulfilling, have subjected human beings to indignities, have led to widespread psychological suffering (in The Third World physical suffering as well) and have inflicted sever damage on the natural world.

| yknow Ive been thinking of hrt, how do I get started OP?

assuming mtf
testosterone is a scheduled substance so gl i guess vOv

| i bet you're pretty, too

| >>952216

if you are in the US im sorry

im Canadian and just sought out gender affirming clinics and got on a waitlist for like 10 months, follower by an initial assessment, another 2 weeks later, then i got a scrip for 1mg estradiol and 50mg spironolactone once a day, kept up on monthly blood tests, and raised levels every few months. i'm on 3mg estradiol and 150mg spiro now and think 5mg estro 200mg spiro will be my happy place

| i will always advocate medical oversight over DIY, idgaf

girlies are online saying starting doses should be 6mg. just basically saying "punch your liver really hard and hope you grow C-cups in two months", and that doesnt work

| >>952450 idk what retards you're hanging w/ for them to talk about growing c's at *any* point much less under a year, lmao
the doses are valid tho, and the next time i see a girl taking 2mg oral per day cuz her doctor is deliberately underdosing her and complaining that her tits never grow i'm gonna shit in her mouth
the liver stuff is fearmongering so that you stay in your lane. likewise blood clots and gallstones lmao

| >>952452
yeah, no

the starting doses are specifically low to gauge a body's responsiveness 1. to check for adverse effects and 2. to determine what level you need to see and feel definite changes, with you ramping up accordingly

im very sorry for all the trans fems that have dogass uneducated doctors that deliberately keep them at 1-2mg 6 months in but a stating dose of 6mg is potentially dangerous and kind of a waste of money unless that's somehow your sweet spot

| it isnt fearmongering to be realistic abt informed consent, and considering the dodgy shit ive seen DIY aficianados champion i dont care much for their poor rakes

i have never for example seen diy guidelines that take into account self checking blood levels at outpatient phlebotomists, which is just generally a good idea to be able to say "hmm is this because of a low T level or [something else]"

| I have my appointment to start E tomorrow. I hope it does something cause if I have to live like I'm living right now for much longer I'll be part of the 41%

| >>952458
never give in <3
and remember it is a slow process. take joy in starting and maintaining the regiment, try and find the feeling of calmness that comes with it. After a few weeks you'll feel the gorgeous tiny pain of tiny titties forming, and from there its all the little changes like smoother, softer skin, redistributed fat, etc.

patience is the key for sure, and of course ater like a month if you havent seen or felt shit demand they up your dosage

| >>ec7091 best post in the thread, honest to god the most solid bit of advice ive read, thank you fellow g/u/rl

| As a curiosity how expensive is hrt in the US

| >>952458 my doc gave me spiro but not E. they want me to wait a month before starting estrogen but I'm going to ask them to start in two weeks cause I'm impatient. at least I've made progress though!

>>952461 thanks for the advice g/u/rl. thinking about that helps me get through the wait.

>>952521 for me it's a $10 copay for 60 days worth of pills. without my insurance it would be close to $200 for the same amount (if I understand the pharmacy bill correctly, which i might not)

| >>952627
Hmph that's goofy, because ideally they should be seeing how E works with your current T levels but HOPEFULLY they stick to their word and you get the dosage started.

also holy hell its expensive without insurance in the US :(( i have no insurance in Canada and it runs me about 60 dollars a month for both 100 tabs of 1mg estradiol and 180 tabs of 25mg spiro

| >>952161 Here comes a Fun fact!
Did you know that Ted Kazcinsci wanted to be a trans girl? You don't believe me? Look it up!

| >>952630 from what I understood they've started me with just spiro because if they reduce my T first, the estrogen works faster once I start it. I've never heard of that on the internet, but I figure it won't matter in the long run.

it's possible to get estrogen online in the US, rather than prescribed--that's pretty close to the canadian price. it's just the Being At The Pharmacy that is expensive.

>>952643 so based... so fucking based...

| Thanks for replies, hopefully if/when I do my insurance will cover most of it for me too
