Kitsune are fox girls, they are foxes that turn into girls, they have from 1 to 9 tails and ears.

Like besides lore and origin, how can you spot the difference between a kitsune and a fox girl? Like ok they have more tails but there are one tailed kitsune, all kitsunes had 1 tail at some point.

Zoologist from terraria, she is neither a kitsune or a fox girl, she is a werefox yet we would only know by reading her rng diolog box or waiting for a full moon.
So it doesnt make that much of a difference if they have to tell us what type of fox girl it is
