I've stopped masturbating for a few months but i got depressed lately so i had to come back. It's been days and i hate the feeling after. Makes me feel like an addict.

MASTERBATION IS SUPPOSED TO BE PLEASUREABLE, DON'T FEEL GUILT. also you aren't actually going to be able to go cold turkey unless you become a monk or religious. I imagine masterbation to be very benificial, if done so in a controlled way. It's also acceptance you know? It's human and natural to need to reproduce, and it's for some it's a curse, but also know that it can be a blessing if done right!

Following up to before, if we were to imagine masturbation as something like candy or junk food, excess causes health problems, too much at once damages teeth or causes indigestion or a buncha other symptoms. But if you balance with good lifestyle, then its actually causes pleasure because it's a reward mechanism. stop feeding it attention/emotion. replace the 'activity' with something else. ignore guilt since masturbating only once a month is respectable. if you want to go more than once a month it's all in willpower of not only not masturbating but also (very important) not getting aroused at all (that raises your libido and if that happens you're swelling with heat and usually it's hard to steer it back to the correct path aka you're fucked) so it's an embargo on anything porn, even text.
