Forbidden love

| Why is this such a romanticised thing? Does it turn people on to be in love with someone thwy can't have a relationship with? Every time I've been attracted to or fallen in love with someone it's been someone I can't have for one reason or another. It fucking sucks. Why do people want that?

| I think it might have to do with how it plays with the "what if" scenario and the mysteries that come with it that we can never truly know because it's "Forbidden"

But, that's retarded. Everyone can daydream and shit, but if you've fallen in love with someone, wouldn't you want that person to be someone you can form a romantic relationship with instead of, just, nothing?

| Wouldn't that be assuming that we can decide who we "fall in love" with?

| It's very important to look at yourself and think, because the idea of trying to attain an unreachable thing sounds more like infatuation than love.

But I don't want it! I fucking hate it! I don't have any infatuation with anything unobtainable! It's just that the people I naturally fall for usually have a sexuality not matching mine and similar stuff that is out of my control.

No. My point is that I don't understand the romanticasion of it in media in similar.
