Why does audio erotica not have a special name?

I often call erotica/smut 'written pornography' though to sound fancy. Isn't this the problem with audio-books too? they have a long name, because at their core, they're a reading of a script. erotic audio is just a medium of erotica, and thus not worthy of its own word! I am the words police, and I say you must view the world as I do!!! *twirls baton evilly*

I don't think there was a time where you could have listened to erotic audio privately before visual porn became the dominant medium?

| Visual erotic media usually gets called pornography, the written form is popularly called smut
But the auditory medium seems to only have longer and more verbose terms associated with it such as audio erotica, spicy audio, gone wild audio, occasionally some will propose earotica or similar but nothing seems to catch on?
