Mm... weird. I think the phrasing they're using here is a bit archaic.
Once upom a time, transhuman used to refer to a kind of people who "evolved," so to speak, from baseline humans- Homo Sapiens. Of course, true evolution takes centuries, even millenia, so the term was eventually appropriated by the transgender rights activists of the 2020's and that's how most people interpret the term now.
