Following a public outcry as a result of the impact the ongoing rat infestation in the city has inflicted upon the public transportation and overall road network of Glitch City, multiple district administrations, tired of waiting for a more substantial responce from QUINCY administration, have pooled resources and began construction of bridges, aptly nicknamed Ratbridges by users on the Matrix, along with a network of roadside fences, intended to direct the flow of rats.

"What ends up happening, is the rat mass simply flows onto the road, blocking the movement for most vehicles, and also creating a potential hazard for drivers on high-speed lanes," — Downtown Chief of Administration Jack Bridges explained in an exclusive interview with The Horn, — "as it stands, we lack the capacity to deal with the infestation itself, not without proper support from QUINCY administration. This is the stop-gap measure we are simply forced to fall back on."

As of the time of writing of this article, ongoing pest issue has already resulted in hundreds of thousands of nuyen in various damages throughout the city. With QUINCY administration silent and refusing to aknowledge the problem, local administration and private enterpreneurs are forced to take the matters into their own hands. As always, we will keep you updated on the situation as it develops. Mike Wazowski, writing for The Horn.
