K-TRAN Conglomerate enters land negotiations following Glitz Disaster

| According to our source in Glitch City administration, K-TRAN Conglomerate officials have engaged QUINCY cabinet and representatives of the West Port militia, most commonly referred to as "fishermen" into negotiations to erect an artificial island in the vicinity of the West Port.

| This supposed land appropriation, according to our sources, has nothing to do with either the Glitch City Subway System Restoration Project or the Glitch City Airport Expansion Project, the two main undertakings of the Conglomerate in the city.

| Instead, it appears that a shadow of mistrust is looming over the K-TRAN Conglomerate Security Department and Glitch City Police Department, with K-TRAN representatives arguing about GCPD's inability to efficiently and effectively protect the citizenry, including K-TRAN employees.

| This inability has been painfully prominent during GCPD's lack of involvement in Glitz District Disaster that struck Glitch City recently this week, when a number of district gangs backed by various corporations entered open hostilities with the forces of the New Dawn Security, resulting in severe civilian casualties and subsequent deployment of a high-yield EMP device.

| It appears that K-TRAN Conglomerate is seeking to use the artificial island to establish a new city district, fully dedicated to housing the dormitories and associated infrastructures to house the majority if not the entirety of the Conglomerate employees in the city - an undertaking not new to the megacorporation alliance considering K-TRAN districts in Kirellia and Neo-Tokio.

| However, it is currently in question whether the negotiations would result in a success for the conglomerate, considering the reclusive nature of the West Port militiamen and general distrust towards the megacorporation alliance regarding the Cathedral-2 Disaster - despite the consistent efforts of the Conglomerate aimed at rebuilding and upgrading the city infrastructure.

We will keep you updated on the situation.
