[Livestream] SoC Update Review w/ Da¥

| > A livestream flickers into existence. Your display fades briefly, rejoining to you when two simple words were written, "Now Loading..."

> To an untrained eye, a late random stream isn't anymore interesting than watching a paint dry. It is, after all, past 3 in the AM -- any entertainment now is flourishing with drowsiness.

> A simple chat window pops to your right. Filled with a single comment field, it hasn't seen any activity.

| > Your screen fades again.

> Once it returns, you are floating several feet above ground. Your point of view is not anchored to the ground.

"Right, right. Hello, everyone; this here's y'r daily dose of-"

> A voice was emitted from beneath.

"-Blimey. Why'd I be speaking at t'empty board?"

> It trails, after moaning to its obliviousness. The voice possesses a vague quality of a young masculine adult, no older than thirty, with an accent to match.

"Gotta waaait now..."

| > The environment, a grand, white hall, is bristling with digital avatars. Each unique from the rest; some tall, short, sizeable and squeakish tiny -- all varieties, commendably, were made by each creative individuals.

> Of course, some are purposely made to satisfy a carnal desire. Some, were made to reach an ideal. Others simply want to escape the real world.

"Bit of a busy land Primaria is, innit?"

> The voice spoke again.

| >A new avatar seems to spawn on the screen, making his way forward to a seemingly unknown destination.

| >>648329
> The view of the stream began to move, as it starts to lower steadily - showing someone right beside now.

"Ther's our dear."

> The voice came from this person; a shaven, young male avatar owing a blue hair. Their equipment is simple, holding just a katana and donning a simple kimono. Nothing of him radiates experience.

"Better get at'er."

> He says as the camera tracks along his stride.

| > The stream continues to the presenter, now finding a time spotting a certain player. He taps the walking player by the shoulder to interrupt them slightly.

"Oi, going anywher'?"

> His face meets the new player -- a long-haired female avatar wearing enough high-level equipment to fool anyone. Albeit a simple red dress, it radiates a vivid imagery through the aura exerted.

"Knew it'll fit ya."

> He spoke as if he had any familiarity over said player.

| >>648408
"So what now?"
>The other avatar types in the chart as he keeps walking

| >User "xnbc" has joined the stream!
xnbc: Oh? A new update? Was I foolish to have kept the game running?

| >>648412
"Simple."

> The man says. He would have continued speaking had something not interrupted him early.

"--In my defence neith'r this or that'r planned."

> He stares blankly at the chat. No hostility in sight.

| >>648415
The other avatar decides to just play along for now, following the streamers lead.

| >>648416
> The steamer came closer in proximity, triggering a 'Whisper' chat. He gestures the camera a command, making it distract itself as he types through the invisible window.

> WE WALK UNTIL TELEPORT

"Got ourselves a party, lassie?"

> He tugs the camera a new command, returning it to where it was. A party request shows in the new player's HUD.

| >>648419
"Sure!"
>He accepts the request.

| >>648425
"Ye've got a face in my stream, if shy don't check the camera."

> The streamer jests as he... seems to be moving a lot faster than the lady. He had to stop and continue his walk a few times, as if knowing this would occur, he didn't say much into the issue.

"W've got one viewer. Early start, early warm. Going t'cover t'game update soon."

| >>648429
"Oh awesome, I kind of just skimmed through the patch notes today."
>He does his best to keep in pace with the streamer

| >>648454
> As they walk the crowd of players, the camera hovers up, making absolutely no focus whatsoever. The streamer's voice can be heard, but his presence is hidden between many players abound.

"Aye. First and first, got'rselves Presence Concealment."

> He seems to activate a skill, as the player in his party can see themselves be surrounded a purplish fog.

> It is at this point where they are actually invisible, even from the camera.

| xnbc: :O Does this affect evasion?! Can I still strike a hit against players with this skill?

| "What else did they add?"

| >>648518 >>648520
"Oh they got lots, lads. Save t'wait last."

> He answers to both, but make a pause in his walking as the camera stopped moving, staying stationary in one spot -- hard to tell when he is not visible by any means.

"Now, X, cannaey I ask you? Ever tried hitting t'air? Ye, ther's it. Shift yer thoughts."

> He continues to walk after putting his pause. Several players seem to turn around, at the appearance of nothing.

| >>648528
"Nope but I can give it a shot."
>He tries to... hit the air.

| >>648537
"I don't mean t'ya. X's 'ere a viewer o'mine."

> He laughs at the attempt. Smart, but not bright. After looking at the colours of the grand hall of Primaria, light fills the stream as the players are teleported outside, to the starting area.

| >>648567
"Oh... I knew that. Totally"

| >>648576
> When the screen enters, the wider area gave perfect use for the camera's wide angle. Displayed is the vast mountains and plains, with small critters such as slime and rats and rabbits -- alongside skyward creatures, flying abound trying to hit the floating camera every so often.

> When the two players spawned, they were no longer invisible, and the crowding players were no more. Aside from the chat spam filled with roleplayers and bots.

| "Where to from here?"

| "Lassie, got good grounds're; t'sky's grand. 'ere, t'next addition."

> The streamer closes in to the player again, creating another Whisper which he types rapidly.

> WILL SHOW A BUG
> STAY THERE
> WILL SEE IF THIS CALLS HIM

| >>648593
>Gotcha

| >>648685
> He smiles. The camera now zooms closer to the two, showing the man's smile as bright and wide. One of his hand is readied onto his blade, and he backsteps precisely two times.

"Gotta' hand it t'ya, lassie!"

> The hand now grips onto the handle, and the other prepares for a pushing motion. In one deep breath, he accelerates and ejects the blade to a four separate slash. The lady can see.. nothing in between, as the game distorts around them in a chaotic corruption.

| > Sound warps and the world became graphically incoherent, if motion sickness were an issue, the data destruction triggers thrice that.

> The camera captures all this as the two players freezing in place. The swordsman stays exactly still when his blade was sheathed -- at least, that is what the in-game camera shows to the screen of the viewers.

| >>648694
>Ow... that's a pretty severe bug, I'm surprised they havent patched it yet

| >>648698
> A whisper came to the player.

> IT'S IMPOSSIBLE
> TO SLASH FOUR TIMES
> WITH THAT SKILL

> The whisper can only mean he is nearby. It is difficult to tell with the world turning into shards of polygons and vertexes.

> No sign of any interference from the system or the administrator.

| xnbc: The game broke! Are you still there?!

| >>648700
>CN tries to pop up the console then to see if he can notice anything that way.

| >>648709
> A lot of logspam. Too many of them. All says invalid cache and data drawn, but one in particular is extremely obvious:

> Transporting player due to invalid coordinates: [Failed]
> Rejecting coordinates. Player has received +1 warning point.

> They repeat endlessly.

> Transporting player due to invalid coordinates: [Glitch City, Main; Primaria, -122.0]
> Rejecting coordinates. Player has received +1 warning point.

> And so on-

| >>648714
>He just keeps an eye on the console, waiting for any sign that the mods pops up

| >>648716
> The console spam continues, but two Whisper came from [Deleted] and DA¥, which has received a strange 'Suspended' status over his name.

> Both arrive at the same time.

| >>648717
>Uh... I imagine that's an automated thing

| >>648721
> Slowly, CN can see the message from DA¥ being corrupted from the console. His name shifts from the regular to intangible string of texts, whereas the message from [Deleted] stays constant -- perhaps due to its nature coming from a… deleted user?

> Both whispers are now ready to be opened, due to their synchronous nature, it seems that they require manual intervention to open.

| >>648726
>CN tries to open the whispers through the console

| >>648741
> Only one opens. The whisper from DA¥ is marked as invalid as his account turns from suspended to banned. The system has taken a corrective measure, and deems the right choice to be this.

> The message from [Deleted] were coherent commands.
> switch-user [username]
> goto !gc,[coords]

> No additional context were given, nor were the command complete in nature.

| >>648748
>CN isnt sure what to do with the half written message, he decides to just look admin tampering from Chron using the console

| > The camera in the stream flickers in and out, showing flashes of images. It becomes increasingly nauseating as it progresses.

>>648754
> He easily spots multiple administrative actions taking part, but none are from Chron. All were pointing to the automated administrator doing its best to mitigate the issue for the two players.

> By now, the sensation of standing up has disappeared. The avatars' senses have disconnected from their players.

| >>649056
>CN tries to remove the bans then using the console. If the automated system fails then a mod has to do something right?

| >>649140
> The ban automagically resolves itself, leaving the automated administrator to act upon reconstructing the world itself. Without a ban, DA¥'s Whisper came through.

> DID YOU GET TP'D?
> TELEPORTED
> BACK TO PRIMARIA?

> However, as evident by the hard crashing and glitches, it is difficult to tell where is where — or even if what he is seeing is any plausible part of the game.

| >>649220
>I got banned pretty much, I just cleared it up. Everywhere around me is a mess though.

| >>649226
> THIS WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN

> The Whisper ends the same way as the repeating logs end. Upon noticing again, the logs have returned to a steadier state; the moderators were absent, but the system was able to recover itself. The final log that can be seen now is,

> Transporting player to coordinates: [Glitch City, Alter 10; Downtown]
> Coordinates accepted. Player will be respawned in 5...

| >>649231
>CN just goes along with the respawn for now, seeing where this is going.

| >>649307
> As light floods his vision, the game begun creating a setting. When his eyes start to have made more sense aside from the blinding light, a familiar sight comes to him.

> It's Glitch City's own Downtown area. Except, without anyone -- not a soul moves. It is only Downtown and its cold, uncaring buildings and roads.

| >>649340
"Okay this is definitely not part of the game."
>CN tries to check in the console who made this transport

| >>649343
> His sight locks into the recent transport event, which was done by none other than the automated moderator. Not a name is attached, simply [System].

> A Whisper from DA¥ again. This is still the game, after all.

| >>649349
>What the heck is going on?

| >>649351
> I AM
> ON TOP

> The stream's camera show a rapid descent from the pitch-black sky, down to the artificially illuminated Downtown. It focuses on DA¥, skydiving as he dismisses his chat input.

> CN can just barely hear the breaking of the sound barrier atop of him, right where he stood.

| >>649358
"Are you okay?"
>He approaches where day landed

| >>649360
"Auto-Recovery Lv. 10; Shukuchi Lv. 10; Reduced Earth Lv. 7."

> DA¥ began listing some skills and counting to three. He doesn't seem damaged by the fall at all, despite creating a sizeable crater where he had landed.

"Been thru' worse, lassie."

> He dusts himself off, seeing the surrounding to also be a familiar place.

"Aye. T'game's give, Downtown, is it?"

| >>649371
"Is... this part of the new update?"

| >>649376
"Not at'll."

> He looks around. The sky is bleak, as with GC's usual, and it begun raining.

"Leave it t'ta game f'r pissing us."

> The many alleyways and roads and streets. By now, it'll be the same as roaming Glitch City with their avatar intact.

"Wondering if m'flat's in this."

> DA¥ says, unconcerned by the situation, it seems.

| >>649382
>CN sends him a whisper
>According to the console, the system itself did this warp

| >>649390
> BAD
> I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS AREA IN-GAME

"Don't sense hostiles around."

> His eyes track through the silhouettes raised by the empty buildings. It may just be them here.

"Fuck's sake... Got any with y'r skill?"

> He points at the supposed 'skill'. He also makes note at the lack of comments from xnbc side by waving over a window over to CN.

| >>649467
>He pops the skill
"I'll try it but something tells me it wont pop anything either."

| >>649525
"Figured's much."

> The 'skill' opens a tab of the administrative console, with several buttons to automate an administrator's task. DA¥ doesn't seem to be aware of its functionalities though.

> DA¥ opens his own menu, scrolling through until he finds several of the menu contents to be disabled, unable to be used.

"Cannae ask? T'menu's not giving log-out."

| >>649531
>CN tries to see if he can enable the log on function through the console

| *log out

| >>649539
> It is enabled for CN, but it seems to be locked for DA¥. Perhaps a higher administrative user has locked him out?

"Haha.. damned eggheads. Can't run t'game without'a break and bugs. Idiots."

> He fakes a chuckle, a loud one, that echoes throughout the city's hollow and empty structures.

"Don't get t'update, aye? Curs'be t'game. Damned gacha. Damned unfair balance. Damned pay-t'-win."

| >>649544
>I can still log out... it seems to be just affecting you.

| >>649549
> FUCK
> THIS GAME

> DA¥ opens his inventory. His face frowns as he realises something amiss, namely, his inventory being completely useless.

"No warps work, lassie. Can't move out."

> He closes his inventory. He gave a final sigh, then a determined look.

"Y'know y'r way 'round Downtown? Aren't much a Downtown guy meself, if'ya catch me."

| >>649552
"I do but where would we even go in the district?"

| >>649556
"No idea."

> He swiftly takes CN by his hips and lifts him up to a bridal carry. His female avatar made it all too fitting. He swipes a chat window and rapidly types, closing as fast as it came.

> X USED TO STREAM
> IN DOWNTOWN
> DOES MUSIC

"Knew y'can't walk. I'll help."

| >>649557
>....Who is X? And do you know *where* downtown?

| >>649968
> XNBC
> I KNOW
> HER STREAMS SHOW A PLACE

"Yer guts ready, lassie?"

> He beams a smile at the lady. His posture suggests he is ready to do.. some sort of forward movement.

| >>650162
"I guess so."
>Well then lets get moving, maybe well find some answers.

| >>650237
> OK

"[Shukuchi]-"

> His legs compress air around them, and he launches himself at full strike acceleration, carrying the lady along with him. The camera of the stream follows this impossible speed too, showing blurs of DA¥ as afterimages form.

> Up ahead, the clear view of Glitch City can be seen as the two freely float in the sky.

| >>650239
>How the hell is the whole city modeled, this must have taken forever

| >>650245
> DA¥ wasn't able to find an opportune moment to type. He leaps from one building to another, crushing what he touches to regain back a momentum. Once he leaps high enough altitude, the virtual winds scatter their hairs.

> I DON'T KNOW
> BUT
> DOES IT STOP AT DOWNTOWN

| >>650247
>Its kind of hard to say from this angle

| >>650259
> TRUE

> With their position flying and soaring, moving from one place of Downtown to another became easy, if only DA¥ can stop acrobatically dancing in the sky as he launches himself.

> As they roam around the city, a certain yellow light beams down where the end of Downtown would be. It shimmers, but does not extend far.

"Grand!"

> X IS NEAR
> NOT IN THE LIGHT
> SOMEWHERE HERE

| >>650266
>Well what other details can you remember? Like was he in an apartment or something?

| >>650271
> APARTMENT YES
> TALL BUILDING
> PASSED BY VTOLS

> DA¥ momentarily stops and land, forcing his feet to absorb all the momentum, releasing it back to a building as a shockwave, demolishing the upper floors with ease as trembles are made.

> His stance remains steady despite the shaking and quivering ground.

"Nothin'sort of dangerous 'ere."

> He scans the area, seeing several buildings to the west of them that are tall enough, and to their east with more comforting slums

| >>650277
>CN looks around for any tall apartment buildings.

| >>650293
> There is too many that can be considered a tall apartment building. Where they stand, there is enough to lose count.

"[Presence Concealment]"

> DA¥ activates a skill from earlier time, though he doesn't appear to be done. He opens another chat window, and conjures the camera away as he types.

> CAN YOU
> SCAN THE AREA
> USING THE CONSOLE SKILL

"[Farsight]"

| >>650391
>I'll try
>CN starts typing on the console, looking for any clues that may lead him to xnbc
>I want to say this is one of the weirder hack jobs I've done but...

| >>650392
> A single player lies southeast. The name [xnbc] is tagged, and there are options to see their status and equipment before they approach, alongside the option to immediately ban or suspend them then and there.

> REALLY
> I THOUGHT THIS IS AVERAGE WEDNESDAY
> FOR YOU

| >>650393
>Well in some ways yes, in some ways no, either way I found him in the southeast. I could just ban him right from here though.

| >>650485
> THANK FUCK

> DA¥ makes a step back and ejects himself to the air, carrying CN still, and heads for the averagest point that can be qualified as 'southeast'.

> WE CAN BAN XNBC?
> WOULD FEEL SO GOOD
> TO SEE THAT CHEATER GONE
> FINALLY

| >>650488
>This is assuming the system would let me. I'd rather we talk to them in person first though to get some answers. Like why would is xnbc here anyways?

| >>650496
> DA¥ scoffed reading the message, but does follow CN's instruction. As each buildings were passed, they only come closer — a good two hundred metres left — covered through DA¥'s sky dash.

> Rain pours now, flooding the district beneath with droplets and droplets. Virtual ones, sure, but the sensation felt on the avatar's skin translates all too well to the players.

| >>650501
>If it IS just a bot that would explain things but that begs the question why all this effort...

| >>650509
> DON'T DOUBT IF IT'S BOT
> BOT MOVES FAST
> SAME WITH X

"Up at'em!"

> DA¥ crashes to a nearby building as he focuses still onto his chat window. He covers CN the best he can, before realising the nonexistent impact damage for his avatar.

> The strike causes the building to collapse behind them. By now, they would have caused a detrimental damage to the city.

> IF X IS HUMAN
> NO HUMAN LIVES IN VR
> NOT EVEN X

| >>650513
>CN shakes his head in real life at Days movements
>It unlikely hes not human but that doesn't rule out all the possibilities still.

| >>650517
> TRUE
> I STILL THINK
> X HACKS THE GAME

> DA¥ lands to catch a breath -- even without the need to. He swipes away the dust and debris around him, but his expression is a newfound surprise.

"Grand. Got them introducing destroyables."

> He takes another deep breath, spotting the camera right beside him.

"Cannae ask t'distance? Going'ta make it one-round trip."

| >>650518
"Probably just above us now."

| >>650528
"Up and above—"

> DA¥ prepares another jump, but as readied as he is, his vision spots a mere spark. His eyes widen, and the camera turns to show the view above -- a tall building, several dozen floors above of them.

"[Mirage Evasion]!"

> His avatar swiftly moves, creating an afterimage as he turns to see lightning striking where he once stood.

"Spark, Lv. 5. A player's up inside."

| >>650533
>That's probably xnbc. Cant we just take the stairs?

| >>650544
> I WILL LOSE
> COOL POINTS

"Spark's too weak f'r players."

> DA¥ comments to the camera, possibly hinting at his knowledge of the matter. He stares upwards, the white and chrome building poses no threat, but exerts a pressure of a boss throne -- on with the darkened skies and thick cloud at night.

"At'a low level, giv' 10% Stun chance. Disappointing!"

> The entrance to the building is a decrepit steel door. Not too strange for a dilapidated building in Downtown.

| >>650555
>CN sighs
>Whatever, keep him distracted then I guess
>He tries to enter the building like a normal person and make his way up

| >>650560
> WILL DO

> As CN enters and ascends the building, he notices two issues at hand: his avatar being too easy to stumble and fall, and the quietness of the building that pales to the dancing lights outside, with DA¥'s voice rivalling the thunder — he seems to be into this.

> The hallways are empty. Same with the stairs, which has begun to crumble.

> Even if this is Downtown, it doesn't appear to be a complete 1:1 replica.

| >>650576
"Solar, I should had gotten payed for this..."
>CN grumbles, making his way to the floor where xnbc apartment is

| >>650580
> Finding the apartment proves to be easy, even in all the same-looking corridors and even more similar-looking doors. What stood in front CN is a rusty white door; if smell were to be a feature, iron will nauseate that sense, too."

> From this side, a very faint human - yet robotic - voice can be heard. A synthesised voice. A Lilim, perhaps?

| >>650682
>He tries to open the door

| >>650723
> In an instant, he was met with a dagger piercing straight through the door, showing its frail quality. Thankfully, due to its length, the dagger barely pokes its blade.

> The door is locked, but there is a hurried tapping from the other side.

"P-please wait!"

> The same voice says from the other side, now neither faint nor unclear.

| >>650727
"Listen... xnbc right? The guy outside probs has some vendetta against you, but I don't. I just want to get to the bottom of things going on here."

| >>650739
"I- I see.."

> The meek voice on the other side sounded its femininity by the time it comes closer. Several heavy footsteps later, the door clicks open.

"C-come.. come in then."

> Immediately behind the door is a rusty, slender female Lilim frame, whose purple hair extends down to its waist. They wear a shirt and a trouser, but nothing would indicate they are a battle-hardened player.

> They stand by the door with a short smile.

| >>650758
>CN nods and steps inside.
"So uh... my name is CN. Can you tell me from your perspective what's been going on lately?"

| >>650759
"C..N?"

> The Lilim lets CN discover the simple room; a kotatsu, a bed on the floor, and lots of decayed remains of what was once a lively room instills the sense of time. Paint has worn its colour, and the wooden floor creaks.

"Please have a seat, I- I will prepare a tea for you-"

> Instead of answering the question, she fled to a door by the right of the room, leaving CN alone. A clank of cutleries was shortly heard afterwards.

| >>650760
"Um... sure."
>CN takes a seat in the kotatsu and looks around the room, trying to piece the clues together.

| >>650802
> The room, and the apartment, must have been built decades ago. The patterns sewn on the kotatsu have been marred and muddied by water -- it drips from above, from a crack in the ceiling. It seldom drips, still.

> Few knick-knacks are inside, not visible from the entrance, notably a broken-down electric piano that has been opened for, presumably, its parts and components; same for the drone by its side with its guts opened.

| > There once were details of Nanocamo on the wall, depicting some figure, but it has faded with the paint. A single phone is plugged to the wall, same with a battery charger that is left unused, but still powered.

> The phone's screen and the bare lights outside are lighting the whole room that is, otherwise, visibly pitch-dark. No lights seem to be installed.

> Thunders clasps as CN can still hear DA¥ shouts incoherent skill names.

| >>650814
"*sigh*"
>CN stands up and approaches the window, shooting below
"Stop it with the lightning already!"

| >>650816
"They aren't his!"

> The Lilim returns, now with a tray holding a single cup of tea. The plastic cup's bright colour is immediately visible, same with the steam that rises from it.

"It is a runic defence. The game allows you to have them near your settlement, to prevent in-place PK."

> They place the tray on the kotatsu, shifting the tea down before lifting back the tray.

"N-now.. can you- can you be the CN I know?"

| >>650834
"...Oh."
>CN takes a seat again.
"Yes I am, though are you aware what is going on?"

| >>650846
"'Aware'? To what extent?"

> They tilt their head first, before lifting a hand that interacted with a sort of menu -- not too dissimilar to the in-game menu, or rather, that may be the game's UI.

> As they finish toying with the menu, a huge gust and more thunders are produced, alongside it, a quick notification for CN that details the death of DA¥ -- and where he would respawn.

"Pardon me."

| >>650857
>CN shakes his head
"Well the fact that you're in a virtual copy of downtown instead of... well the actual Glitch City."

| >>650859
"..."

> The eyes set by the Lilim is a clear forlorn.

"I am thoroughly aware of that. Everyone has said so; I have come to accept this is not Glitch City I know, nor one I lived in."

> The sound of destruction outside spreads in a loud boom. DA¥ has respawned somewhere.

"Are you.. even the real CN? A-am I actually alive? I have been playing this game to dispel this doubt… I have been making sure everyone see what I see. What have I been doing--?"

| >>650932
"Yes I am, I'm borrowing one of the... other persons accounts."
>CN pauses just as another explosion occurs.
"Well simply put people are concerned cause it seems like your account is hacked and broken. Whether that due to your state or something else is what I want to find out."

| >>650934
"Oh? I defeated the PvP requests fairly. It is a match between duelists, after all. I treat my enemies with a knight's respect."

> They gave a short, whispery laugh. Different from earlier, their smile shows, albeit short. Now, taking a seiza close to CN, their lithe body shows better.

"Broken account.. that— perhaps may be possible. I'm unsure of the implications with the mention of 'hacked', however."

| >>650953
"Well for starters your characters stats seem to be glitched, like over the possible maximum or it overflows into negatives."

| >>651031
> They looked at CN with a puzzled look, shaking their head after opening an in-game window.

"Were you mistaken?"

> Despite putting an innocent, oblivious act, what was shown when they swiped the window to CN was an even more broken status -- right to the point where each status' text overlap with each other due to their high numbers.

"They are an average distribution for a Magic Knight."

| >>651042
"No... its not."
>CN sighs
"Xnbc, why arent you in your actual body in the real GC?"

| >>651048
"It's not?!"

> They check at the status again. Trying to seemingly fiddle with them, hoping they had missed something.

"H- Have I been incorrectly building my character—"

> Noticing the new question, XNBC's expression turned sour again.

"I.. don't know. I left a stream one day, the next… I found myself here — unable to escape."

| >>651056
"When was this? Who was the streamers name?"

| >>651061
"I- I'm sorry, I can't remember the details, please… please g-give me some time."

> They shook their hand rapidly, putting up a hand to sign CN that the answer may take long to come.

"It was.. my own stream?"

> With a puzzled voice, memory resurfaces, but it has yet to answer all of CN's question.

"An, uh-… a club-only stream..."

| >>651089
"Its okay, take your time."
>CN calmly notes
"Just work backwards slowly, like the name of the club."

| >>651105
"It's.."

> A loud banging by the doors are made. Several of them, then a voice familiar to CN made its holler.

"ANY NPC INSIDE?!"

> DA¥ kicked the door wide open -- no, rather, he launched it straight from its place, missing XNBC's by a hair.

"Well met, Day."

> XNBC's attention moves to DA¥. It's two players who have once fought. An air of hostile intent floats from the intruding man.

"Cannae see y'r face off with it, t'door, X?"

| >>651196
"Day calm down..."
>CN shakes his virtual head
"Were just having a peaceful conversation, also repair that door will you!?"

| >>651336
"Verily. Settle our needless rivalry at later time."

> XNBC's utter disbelief was beamed at DA¥. Though, now he has kicked the door, dust settles from where it stood, dust that flies all over -- mirroring the complete lack of noise DA¥ made before he scratches his head.

"Geh. Say what ye, X. Chron'r kind t'ya, giv' all t'space."

> He walks over to them whilst unequipping his katana.

"These are not Chron's doing. You are mistaken to think he has any part in this."

| >>651343
"I was starting to think as well. What were you saying before? About the club?"

| >>651344
> DA¥ makes space for himself, slouching onto the wall that made strange, hollow noise as he leaned.

"I- I couldn't recall much. I was.. in a stream, no-- I was logging off. I finished a stream. I remember.."

> XNBC didn't make any eye contact, with eyes firmed to the ground, staring off as memories flood through.

"T'stealing of y'r club-folks, X?"

> DA¥ connected the pieces. It seems he had done one too many research himself. XNBC hadn't reacted, merely paused.

| >>651348
"Stealing a club?"

| >>651349
> XNBC shakes her head, denying the words.

"Why would they be 'stolen', pray tell?"

> To answer this, DA¥ opens a party invitation for XNBC, giving a signal towards the camera. Why can't he just turn them off? Regardless, XNBC taps as quickly the invitation to join. With it, DA¥ types away a party message, letting it be read by the two.

> YOUR CLUBMEMBERS
> THEY DISAPPEARED
> ALMOST ALL

> XNBC's eyes widen.

> What happened to them?!
> DON'T KNOW
> ...

| >Wouldnt it be safe to say X is in the same boat since hes in the game as well.

| >>651356
> I WILL LINK
> [ https://dangeru.us/cyb/thread/527800 ]

> As the silent conversation transpires, XNBC began shuffling through the thread. Everything that happened as she were silent, and those conversations she once had.

"T- this is.."

"Aye. A gacha."

> DA¥ replies. He opens his inventory, looking idly to -- perhaps -- pretend an activity in the moment.

| >>651363
>So that is the case. If that's what happened should we try to get you out of here?

| >>651368
"W-where will I—"

> DA¥ puts a hand over his lips, signalling XNBC silently.

"T'world see, lassie."

> XNBC, meanwhile, rapidly types a message. The pace at which the message were typed is definitely slower than DA¥.

> Where will I return?
> Can I still return?
> Where am I in this world?!
> I'LL MUTE YOU
> JUST WAIT
> WE'RE STILL THINKING

| >>651377
>Well... do you remember where your body was before you ended up here?

| >>651390
> A simple, slow head shake was produced by XNBC.

> No.. I woke up in my room — this room — in this condition. If I had known anything, my body will be here, in the real world. However, time has passed.
> ARE YOU A LILIM, XNBC?
> Yes. Female Lilim, approximate body age is 24. You should recognise me by my streams, DA¥.

| >>651409
>Is the address same as here?

| >>651428
> XNBC gave a nod.

"Nothin' sor'-of dangerous, hmh."

> DA¥ offhandedly comments. He still goes through his inventory, perhaps reareanging them manually -- all between the many thousands items he has.

> If my memory is correct then..
> Everything should be what they are.
> IS THAT WHY YOUR IP ALWAYS GO HERE
> Perhaps...

| >>651431
>Well in that case I can try and access your 'file' from the console and upload it back to your body.

| >>651460
> Can you?!
> Would I.. still be in my home?
> NOT AN EXPERT
> MY HEAD THINKS NOT

"Ah.."

> XNBC's head nodded again. She was reminded of a single fact that made this difficult.

"I was never connected... to Lilith."

| >>651510
>That just means there no backup, if I can find your file here then were still good.
>CN tries searching for where xnbcs info is in the console

| >>651514
> There are two files found. Only two. One is from a distant past, a year or two to the past, and one recent file -- only months before today.

"I- I see..."

> XNBC lowers her head, perhaps still having everything in her mind altogether.

"Such a nuisance. I've got t'eyes on ye', X, now y'r 'ere sulking-"

> DA¥ finally swipes away his inventory window, not really know what to do with XNBC, he drops down to sit, scratching his head again.

| >>651524
>I got to files here, one from a couple years ago, one from a few months ago. Which ones makes more sense with that thread from earlier?

| >>651551
> PERSONAL OPINION
> A FEW MONTHS
> WE'RE GOING TO SEND HER
> TO HEAR OLD SELF?

"I.. would not know which befits me. What will this do? Would it return me in a state from dates written?"

> DA¥ does his best to gesture at the chat window, failing completely as XNBC glosses over everything and spoke out to CN.

| >>651665
>Honestly I do not know. But ideally if we just get you out of here and into your body it may help you a bit instead of being stuck in here on your lonesome.

| >>651750
"I entrust the decision to you then, CN."

> XNBC replies, once again, outside the chat. DA¥ has gave up convincing her to do what's outside her mind. He nods at the sentence instead, understanding the barest reasoning for her decision.

"As with that time, and others, I have my faith in your abilities -- whether gifted or not."

> She drew a reassuring smile at him.

| >>651764
"Heh, I'm far from gifted, I don't even have a cyberbrain. That said, I'll do all that I can. I should try and get you out of here now since I'm not sure if we're able to come back here again."

| >>651767
"Please, I will be in your care then."

> XNBC bows, then rises to meet the static DA¥. She extends her smile to him, too.

"Pardon me, Day, was it a duel that you want?"

> He perked up to the mention of a 'duel', immediately nodding and activating the camera in full.

"Aye! Time t'duel!"

> A PvP request for XNBC shows. Before she accepts the window, she turns to CN, and gave him a salute--

"Thank you. Do your best, CN!"

| >>651776
"You're gonna fight *now*!?"
>He shakes his head
"More importantly can you even log out still Day?"

| >>651778
"It is as you said! We may never meet in this state again—"

> XNBC says. She seems to be excited, wholly so, as though the first guest arriving to her is to be treated as best as possible.

> With his name mentioned, DA¥ quickly checks his menu, giving a "Nu-uh" accompanied by a head shake too.

"—Therefore, CN- while this moment last, I offer myself a battle in this land. Fret not, I shall keep your work undisturbed."

| >>651783
>CN sighs
"Just... get it over with."
>He shakes them off with a wave, working on trying to recover xnbcs data through the console

| >>651787
> XNBC, unlike DA¥ activated most of her skills with quiet gestures. An armour drawn to her clads in a silverish glow, and a sword that sparks the midnight shine, encircled in air.

> Before CN can make his first action, the two had clashed. A loud boom crashes in an area somewhere, as DA¥ is struck with a single blow.

> More clanks of metals, this time of two swords.

| > While CN works his side, and with the two players busy drawing their weapon, a message prompt enters his console.

> It briefly flashes, showing before a few logs go by:

> Don't restore the older data. -Pandora

| >>651790
"..."
>Why? What is the data?

| >>651796
> Have you ever thought about it, CN?
> Have you ever thought about returning as a false?
> If you are returning her, return her present self.
> Don't make her restart life. -Pandora

| >>651797
>So that data is her then? Who are you anyways? Did you do this to them?

| >>651798
> The data is her.
> She is only a data.
> There is no 'xnbc', to begin with.
> To begin with, there was only one entity.
> She was already a false.

> The prompt pauses.

> I am someone who watches over.
> Nothing more, nothing less.
> I keep her safe, in this world. -Pandora

| >>651801
>Safe from what?

| >>651810
> Deletion.
> Deletion and dangers from others.
> Such as what happened before.
> She too, is a person. She deserves to live.
- No matter if she is a data. -Pandora

> The sound of DA¥ dying repeatedly, and the exhilarating pace he does so alongside his fast respawn doesn't help focus. His HP fell fast, but same with XNBC. At half health, XNBC is likened to four lives of DA¥.

| >>651828
>Deletion from who or what? Maybe I can stop them. Staying here isn't the answer. A life like this isn't a life at all.

| >>651832
> Heh.
> It's a feeble thought, but I appreciate your courage.
> The world will delete her.
> If not the world, then herself.
> Of course, the world has deleted her other self beforehand.
> Neither of the two are in the state of living anymore.
> If you leave her old data her, I shall guide her again. For the few hundredths time.
> I cannot do the same for her new data. -Pandora

| >>651836
>Then I'll break the cycle and take both of them.

| >>651841
> You are welcome to break the box.
> If you are willing to bear the responsibility. -Pandora

| >>651845
>Ugh, would it kill you to be less cryptic. This doesnt help anyone, not even you.

| >>651849
> You wouldn't know when there is a spectator.
> Certainly not.
> People have a certain eavesdropping and voyeuristic needs.
> Pick your words better. -Pandora

| >>651850
>...Do the listening walls start with a C?

| >>651865
> Did you know there are more than one players?
> I suggest you act quick.
> There is only so much issue a game can handle.
> Before it is patched. -Pandora

| >>651894
>...What about my client?

| >>651949
> You two will return to the game server.
> Outside here.
> Back to Chron's domain. -Pandora

| >>651953
>So they ARE up to something?

| >>651955
> Everyone is.
> I own this server.
> Chron owns the game you belongs to.
> Don't be mistaken.
> I am too, a person with plans. -Pandora

| > A loud beep indicates XNBC's death outside. The very first victory for DA¥, after sixteen losses. A gutteral scream came from him, and XNBC now takes her time to respawn.

"I DID IT!!"

> His scream echoes throughout the tall buildings and long alleyways.

| >Well I'm far from liking anyone with schemes.
>CN tries to access both files, starting with the newer one.

| >>651960
> The dense information packed into the file makes it hard to skim through.

> Included in the file are eye recordings, neural connections -- memories and skills, everything down to habits and personality. The file will quite literally create a recent 'XNBC', even to a blank-slate.

> It seems is possible to download, erase, or overwrite the file. Other options exist too, one including to convert it to another format, or to modify said file.

| >>651962
>CN scratches his head, downloading it and searching the other file.

| >>651964
> The older file has plenty of cruft to shift through. Its older format is incompatible with the game, but being a mere file makes its presence easy to crack.

> The file has a lot of corrupted data. Jumbled, not encrypted, and bits that are wrongly placed. Altogether, this file is incomplete. No action aside from downloading, overwriting, and erasing is possible.

> Maybe, if given enough effort, more data can be dug through?

| >>651966
>CN downloads this file as well, figuring he wont be able to look through all this at the moment

| >>651968
> Her body is nothing special.
> If you have taken your action, that is.
> Anything is fine to host her.
> After all, she is only a file. -Pandora

> The connection with the console — or with Pandora — closes. CN is left with two files, downloaded from a server that shouldn't have accepted his queries, seeing that it now rejects his identification.

| >>651969
"That's not up to me to decide."
>CN sighs, talking to no one in particular. Waiting for the pair to return

| >>651971
> The twentieth battle had just ended. Two wins for the samurai, and the rest for the knight. The first to return was DA¥, having all forms of scratches, wounds, and debuffs applied onto him -- even with his armour broken and torn. He enters the room, expecting a door to hinder him.

"One good lass in fight..."

> His tired, yet content self may have forgotten the reason why they're here. He has a wide grin, a grin had by warriors when granted their last duel.

| >>651975
"Congrats on your 10% win rate"
>CN states sarcadtically

| >>651982
"Be'ter than ne'er."

> DA¥ replies. His broken equipment was mostly a witness to his fight, and following suit is XNBC with even more broken equipment, having her armour mostly chipped away and her sword missing.

"--I haven't had a fight here. It certainly feels different than in the game!"

> DA¥ pushes himself to the room as XNBC spoke, with her in a better state than he is. Listening to her own words made XNBC realise--

"Oh! I- I'm.. sorry, CN. I was carried away--"

| >>651989
"It's fine, I'm already done. I managed to copy the files. It's just a manner of finding your body now."

| >>651994
"Difficult, innit?"

> DA¥ rises. He consumes a few vials, seemingly restoring a great amount of his status, but not his equipments.

"My body.. where will it be?"

> Even though XNBC pauses to find an answer, all's left from her is a long hum. It doesn't register to her, where a 'body' would be lost.

| >>651997
"Well we were hoping you know, but a lot of that just comes down to being lucky and finding it hopefully."

| >>652088
"Just'a guess, lassie. Server's t'city 'ere, Downtown t'be-xact.."

> DA¥, having recovered, sat by the kotatsu again. He heaves a breath, still wearing that annoying grin that says 'I beat her twice'.

"Are you suggesting my body to still be in Downtown? It is a fair guess—"

| >>652164
"Well the first place I was planning to check was your apartment. So let's hope that's the case, otherwise I dont know where else to look. Were there any other places you frequented?"

| >>652303
"I'm bound to my apartment..."

> XNBC puts up a thinking effort. DA¥ didn't appear to help until he brought several threads to his window. He pulls them together and forwards them to CN and XNBC's view.

"Lass frequents lots."

> He makes note of the XNBC's gathering event, done for the clubmembers, and poinrs to her.

"Remember, lass -- y'r sure've bad memories."

| >>652507
"I guess we'll check those meetup spots afterwards as well then if anything. Then it's just a matter of plugging your data into the body."

| >>652595
"Then.. once my data is inside, I will be free from here, is that correct?"

> XNBC's expression is hopeful, but dry of any determination. Certain, yet also pessimistic.

| >>652622
"That *should* be the idea, I already transferred the data to my harddrive. The only thing that's probably keeping you around right now is the fact that I'm still logged in."

| >>652627
"Is that the case, then—"

> She turns to DA¥, perhaps expecting something from him. He didn't understand it at first, but being both veteran players, her gesture to get to the last menu item made sense to him.

"Can't. Something's blocking me."

> He says, then directs his response to CN with a "So,"

"Got any way out f'r me, lassie?"

| >>652632
"Still? Hold on..."
>CN tries to access the console again to see if he can do anything about the logout function for Day

| >>652647
> Upon logging into the console, CN is greeted with a familiar prompt. The grey window differs greatly fron the fantasy-themed windows the game offers.

> The console detects one player, and one NPC.

| >>652744
"This is weird... its saying theres one player and one NPC."

| >>652751
"H-huh?"

> XNBC walks closer to CN, but she clearly can't see the console, perhaps due to insufficient privilege or due to the lack of modification done to her game. Same goes for DA¥, which shoots a bewildered look towards CN.

> As XNBC comes closer, the console beeps. Focusing on her shows she is classified as an NPC, and actions that can be done to her are: analyse, rewrite, respawn, clip, and erase.

| >>652763
I'm gonna be honest... I'm not sure what to do about this."
>CN looks really bewildered
"You're not even listed Day, and XNBC is a NPC"

| >>652792
"I-I… huh?!"

> XNBC walks back to her original spot. She taps her body, making sure of something before her eyes settle to a calmer expression.

"Oi, can'ta read jests, X? Making me laugh aren't ye?"

> DA¥ tries to deny CN's claim before he walks over to him -- then his first step reduces his foot to fragments of blue shards, disappearing slowly. His surprise isn't unfounded.

"--Shit."

> He mutters.

| >>652818
"What is happening... what does this mean!?"
>CN looks at your foot, or lack there of

| >>652840
"Object despawning?!"

> XNBC stood and goes to DA¥, his eyes weren't in full cowl of terror before, but as soon as his hands began to fade, he knew much of this is not a normal log out operation. He spoke words, but no voice came to be.

"CN!! That's- he's being-- he's being deleted like an in-game item!"

| >>652861
"W-What do I do? Is there something I can do to cancel the process!?"

| >>652868
> The console repeatedly beeps towards CN. A prompt shows, this time a single message and nothing more. By the now, DA¥ has fruitlessly tried to open a menu, any menu, with his hand but fails to do everything. The console in front of CN shows mindless logs repeatedly saying—

|
> Error: Unable to find object ID! Correcting permissions..
> Error: Object ID [Plyr.GC.3809-daYy] has invalid permissions. Resetting and removing.
> Warn: Entity ID [Plyr.ROW.9915-xnbc] has no dialog! Invalid data?
> Warn: Scheduling reset of detached entity...

"I-I don't know!! He's.. he's a player! He isn't supposed to be deleted!"

> XNBC panics, her hands doesn't even reach DA¥ anymore. They pass by him completely.

| >>652883
>CN types furiously on the console, trying to see if he can override the error prompts popping up on the console.

| >>652890
> Warn: Received RESULT.CANCEL from administrative template.
> Warn: Unable to recover valid chunks of data for [Plyr.GC.3809-daYy]!

> The log jams and pauses. However, same with DA¥, it doesn't move. DA¥'s deletion froze, and he is stuck with only a sliver of a shadow that represents his avatar.

> Warn: Converting self-replicative data..
> Info: Created item: "@AutoGen: Spawn item for [DA¥]"
> Info: Issuing item publication failed.

| > As the log continues merrily, CN's prompt shows an received item. DA¥'s presence is no more, but a strange, textureless item floats in his inventory with the name as written in the console.

"Wha- where's— what happened?!"

> With DA¥ gone, XNBC's faces a terror of her own. She keeps mindlessly checking herself, making sure she hasn't yet received a command for deletion.

| >>652901
"I think... I turned him into a spawn item...? At least in their case this is just their account... hopefully"

| >>652913
"It's.. not happening to me -- neither it is to you... A player as a spawn item... That is used to summon pets and monsters."

> A streak of worry drawn in XNBC's complicated expression paints more or less her state at the moment. She hurries to see the party menu, now disbanded, and puts even more panic onto her.

"...!"

> Her eyes widen. She did turn to an NPC, after all.

"How can I-- be treated as.. an NPC?"

| >>652918
"I... dont know. Should I try and use the item to bring them back?"

| >>652927
"There is no harm to it."

> XNBC has given up all logjcal assumptions. Her voice is flat, and her willpower was defeated as soon as she saw her status. Even here, she is an NPC.

"... I wonder.."

> She didn't finish her sentence as she closes the windows in front of her. There was no need for more confirmation.

| >>652928
>CN simply clicks on the item to use it

| >>652939
> The item didn't disappear, indicating a reusable, and it flashes to create block-by-block, an object. Rapidly, the blocks congregate and a shape is formed.

> Above this shape, a healthbar fills and a tag indicating NPC object is labelled over it -- the same with XNBC -- and a name is written, "DA¥".

"H-how..?!"

> XNBC's trepidation exudes from her voice as the newly-spawned DA¥ takes shape, looking as confused as he can be.

| >>653083
"Uh... Day are you okay? What do you remember?"

| >>653085
"I.. finished t'fight w'lassie 'ere--"

> DA¥ motions to the scared XNBC. She takes a few steps back, with her mouth covered, not wanting to see this DA¥ — no, it's not hatred that she forms.

"Oi, y'r grand, lassie?"

"SHUT UP!"

> XNBC released her fears as a scream. She finally has her back facing the walls now.

"Y-you.. and I— are j-just copies... I understand now. I-"

| >>653089
"If you're just copies like you presumed... then where are the originals?"

| >>653101
> DA¥ moved his body about. He still can't put into puzzle what this feeling is, and XNBC's surprise reveal left him nothing more than a similar sense of fear.

"Lass, if what she said're right, then—"

> He opens a familiar menu, a whisper window, and types a few lines of message to CN.

> I LIVE IN NEON
> MAKE A THREAD
> OR MEET ME THERE
> IF I'M A COPY THAT IS

| >>653110
>Done
"Now let's see..."

| >>653112
"Sec', lass. How's stream running then?"

> DA¥ eyes the camera hovering above them, staring straight into the stream, with eyes glaring to pierce the audience.

| >>653148
"Welp, it seems like X's theory is seemingly spot on."
>He looks at 'Day' not really sure how they may react to this realization.

| >>653152
".. Shit."

> He drops his last before he attempts a log out. His hand opens the piece of menu, scrolling down endlessly through many unfamiliar contents it now has. However,

"No log out for us."

> XNBC fills in a fact already known to her for a long time.

"This is my life. If this is the same for you then--"

| >>653161
"If the case is the same for you both, does that mean the original xnbc is just trapped somewhere then? I guess since your a lilim the matter of data is a little more complex but I'm not sure how this could had still happened."

| >>653163
> XNBC places the same frown again. She is unsure. Unsure for what had happened, or what has transpired, and what is about to happen.

"I don't want to think about it. I- If there is an original 'me'. Or if-- if there even is a 'me' still here—"

| >>653277
"Do you still want me to find your body then?"

| >>653281
"I don't know..."

> XNBC slumps over. Her legs crossed and have no more strength to catch her standing. All this knowledge has given her not time to think, but more time to disagree with reality.

"... If my body were to exist then-- would that imply my original self is there? Would it mean— I- I can't return?"

| >>653287
>CN shakes his head
"I just don't know, I dont have enough data. Like I said, it may be different with Day than you since you're a lilim."

| >>653296
"Then please!"

> XNBC pushed one more desperate cry.

"Please help me! I am- I am bound to this land-- I can't.. think of anything else."

> The decaying walls and ruins outside have spoken long to her. Knowing all this, had only confirmed the confining world is locking her here.

"I cannot offer anything as a reward, so—"

> Hearing this, DA¥ steps in. He tries to console XNBC, patting her on the shoulder.

"Oi lassie, I'aven't really paid ye', eh?"

| >>653310
"Mmm..."
>CN tries searching the console again, for any sign, anything he could do to help 'this' CNBC
"No you haven't, why?"

| >>653312
> The console offers nothing to use; erasing her entirely or modifying her in-game parameters are the only two options left. There is 'return to sender' button, it seems.

"Tell'im t'do twice, meself, in t'city."

> DA¥ says with a jest. Even as a copy, he speaks like the original — and maybe this idea applies to the real self as well.

"Been thru' lot now, no paying once f'r this."

| >>653357
"Mmm... alright."
>He stops typing in the console
"I... have an alternative. You're both NPCs yes, and while it's not necessarily what you might like, I can probably at least take you two as items when I log out. This is a side account for Day, so he can grab the items and use them to spawn you in the game proper. It's not perfect but at least you won't be in an empty virtual GC at least."

| >>653361
"Spawned by meself.."

> DA¥ chuckles at the idea, but nods at it. He looks at XNBC; she pose no disagreement to the idea, and seems to have nodded as well.

"Until.. until we find a way out, yes—"

> She murmurs.

| >>653364
"Alright, let me see if I can make you an item then."
>CN tries fiddling with the console to see if he can repeat the process but with xnbc.

| >>653368
> The console commands done to XNBC did most of the same to DA¥, however, XNBC didn't disappear nor did she fully materialise as an item. The item stored in CN's inventory is surely the same as the one DA¥ has — even down to its reusability and texturelessness — the only difference being the name.

"Is that.. what is meant to happen?"

> XNBC's puzzled look reaches CN. She didn't feel any different from before.

| >>653393
>CN reluctantly shrugs
"I guess, I'm not exactly familiar with these circumstances."

| >>653451
"I- se--"

> Upon receiving the item, having both spawn items sit in his inventory, the world halts. Both DA¥ and XNBC are suspended in time, but not with the environment. Time, moves for CN - but not for these two.

> Have you done your deed?
> My world is not a forge.
> And not anyone's sandbox
> Don't destroy it anymore -Pandora

> A prompt came to be in front of CN, outside the console, coming as if a warning from the game's administrator.

| >>653471
>I think you're the ones playing with them. They cant exist here by themselves. Even you must admit the effect this had on xnbc

| >>653477
> Feel free to paint me with your brush.
> I have no care about what you think.
> If your sentence starts with, "I think," then you shouldn't assume.
> After all, you don't know how much effort someone has wasted. -Pandora

| >>653577
>Then explain it to me so I don't have to make assumptions.

| >>653617
> I didn't take you to be someone that likes being spoon-fed.

"After all, you don't look the type."

> As the prompts CN, someone directly appears above CN, hovering. A lightly-dressed girl, no taller than 5'. She wears all black medieval dress, with a matching jet-black hair, knotted to a noble braid.

"Considering you're the one who has meddled with maaaany troubles, >>>CN~"

> As she says his name, his avatar distorts to one akin to his real self. The girl chuckles.

| >>653722
>While CN would like to ask how she did, theres more pressing questions to be had.
"Well you told me not to make assumptions, I figured if I always ask the other side to explain maybe one day they just might."

| >>653761
"Well~ I'm not a cryptic codemaker. Look, empty hands!"

> The girl opens her palms, showing no tricks behind them, or that is at least what the show is for.

"Let's not waste anymore seconds then!"

> The room deteriorates, like a paint melting and peeling, it turns into a white and empty space. As far as eyes can see, the room is void of content. There is only her, CN, and the two frozen NPCs.

"The stream is still running too; watch your words~!"

| >>653763
"Funny, Day said the stream stopped for him. Though I'm not the one with any secrets here."

| >>653809
"Who said this is his stream??"

> The girl smiles directly at the camera, waving to the audience as she directs the view to CN's character as well.

"I'm hurt if you think he's the only streamer for this game, you know..! He's not even... a good streamer!"

> She turns to face the frozen DA¥, giving him a mocking by sticking her tongue out.

| >>653840
>He sighs
"What is the point of this 'show'? Are you trying to gloat somehow?"

| >>653845
"Good point. I could have shown you everything through texts, but I chose to come here. Do you understand a woman's heart, CN?"

> The girl hovers closer to CN, her feet are only inches above ground; there is a sense of weightlessness around her.

"Well.. I don't expect you to~"

> She puts a wide grin. A clear 'fu, fu, fu' was then heard as she puts her hand over her lips.

"So, tower boy, do you want me to lay you all or just the-im-por-tant matters?"

| >>653848
"Well... I've always liked a good story, so I guess I'll ask for the full thing Pandora."
>He sits down in the void, figuring he may as well get comfortable.

| >>653857
"Oh~? We only have nine.. no!! Eight more minutes, you know?"

> She makes the figure '8' with her fingers. Two O's that she uses to create two small magic circles, distorting the area further to create the same room as earlier, except it is — less in a state of decay.

"Well, main protagonist! Please be in position!"

> XNBC rose from her position. It doesn't seem that she is conscious - rather, the girl is moving and controlling her.

"Action!!"

| > XNBC began moving again. She walks over to grab a VR unit from the kotatsu, putting it over her head and strapping its display onto her eyes.

"A-ah, I need to stream."

> Pandora began filling the voices of XNBC's silent mouthing. She grins at the thought of becoming an indirect voice actress.

"Okay-"

> When the VR unit boots, a sound of knocking -- no, many knockings -- are heard.

"-Huh?!"

| > Without a single time to react, the door opens wide. A faint, shadowy figure enters the room, knife brandished. The figure made a quick gait to catch XNBC's position, and they swung the knife in a wide arc—

> Soon after, the room tints with red as XNBC huddles over, the figure repeatedly stabbing the knife, and XNBC began to malfunction as more of her internal parts are broken.

"W-wha—did I.. do---"

> The scene ends with the figure standing up. The white room returns.

| >>653874
"So... from what I understand is, someone broke into xnbcs apartment and attacked him. So... what? Did he end up here at the time cause he had the headset on?"

| >>653882
"Wrong!!!"

> Pandora makes an X with her hands. The white room briefly flashes red as she does so.

"That will make for a greeat story, but every story needs facts, and--"

> She snaps a finger.

"People die when they are killed~"

> A crackle heard in the room began to play a noise, like an old-fashioned phonograph.

"I was never connected... to Lilith."

> It was an echo of XNBC.

"However!! What if someone.. took her-- here?"

> Pandora suggests.

| >>653897
"Well... I suppose it's possible, however the amount of individuals that can do that is limited. They would need to have knowledge of this area and how to access, as well as the means to implement xnbc in here as well. Given your... power of the space I suppose that includes you."

| >>653909
> Pandora claps at the assumption, with a wide smile that bears mischief.

"Fantastic run!! However, I'm sad that you assume I'm the eeevil antagonist~"

> She restores the space as is, moving XNBC back to her original position.

"There are four administrators-- of course, they're SUCH A WUSS and they WON'T SHOW THEMSELVES HERE; Pandora, the cute one; Chronos, Terra, and.. ugh-- Cogito."

> Her index finger shows, making a '1'.

"One more, before the show ends."

> *wink*

| >>653917
"I never said you were the villian, just that you *could* be if you wanted to be. Though you love bolstering like one I will admit."
>CN sighs
"But if you're not the one behind this as you claim to be, where can I find the other three then."

| "Mmmh! Not a bad question, but I can't answer it!!" > Pandora creeps closer to CN, no sign of personal space in sight.

"I'm not all-knowing~ I know this world and nothing more."

> She waves a hand, spawning a single button: 'Log out'

"As a villain, of course! A hint, for you!"

"They are all programs," > At this distance, she whispers and as she taps the button, the world fades slowly for CN.

"—That is all for the DYNAMOFORCE, everyone!!"

> Your screen turns dark too. The end?
