> Another slow night at the Corner bar in the motor district. A jukebox sits in the corner, shuffling through music at random, interspersed with rankings in the nearest street race. The Bar felt cosy, at least. There wasn't any feeling like the world outside was happening really. The old memorabilia on the walls helps keep that timelessness alive.
> Given how most places in such a big city would be cramped, the bar itself had room to spare. Fitting of what's still neutral turf.

> The booths are vacant and the bar itself lies mostly barren, save for a lilim tapping away at a tablet and the bartender opposite of him. A small stash of packages are on the floor in a neat pile behind him, as well as a patched and worn jacket.

"Nani sore?! More clients are coming in and I can barely keep up with all the jobs as it is. Can I get a beer to help with this, Colt?"
> The Lilim holds out his hand as the bartender wordlessly hands the beer over. Fox then takes a long swig and slams it down.
"What do you suggest I should do?"
> He asks the bartender, who gives no response at all.

>a girl with pink hair wearing a kimono walks in, a strangely mythical air about her >she looks around in a whimsical wonder, a curious expression on her face.. "OooOOOoooo" >the smell of sakurs follows her as she looks around, kimono waving as she goes, spreading the foreign scent "Kon'nichiwa" >she does a french style curtsey
> Fox immediately perks up while the bartender seems to nod in acknowledgment.
"Irashai!"
> Fox greets her while turning around in his seat, knocking some of the boxes down off their stacks. The bartender positions himself ready to make a drink
((I'm going to let the bartender be an NPC since i really don't like writing double duty jsyk)

Sono kanari seiyō soretomo koko de bā to yoba remasu ka?" >she takes a seat, slightly adjusting her kimono a bit as to be comfortable "Yamakaze haibōru o mo~tsuemasu ka." >then offers payment (・∀・)つ⑩

> Fox beams with delight to be speaking Japanese again. He replies excitedly with his Americanised Japanese accent.
“Arigatou. Demo, koko ba– wa monode wa arimasen. Sore wa Coruto desu.”
> Fox turns and give the bartender a thumbs up but only gets a shrug in response.
“Nee, eigo wo hanashimasuka? Coruro ha mada nihongo wakaranai. Soshite, kyo wa nomimono ga dekinai.”
> Fox gives a defeated sort of shrug, knowing his place for the night

>>578708 >a confused look runs across her face and she tilts her head "Daijōbudesuka? Amari imi ga nai yōdesu" >it seems your Japanese was quite frankly poo poo >then her eyes widen "Oooohhh youwu awre not espeak Japanese!? I am Gomennasai. May i get a yamakaze highball please?" >she talks in a adorable albeit slightly broken japanese accent >awww
> the bartender quickly makes the drink and hands it off, taking her credstick. Fox, meanwhile, blushes his typical dark grey
“Gomen gomen. My caretaker, Ayanami-hakase, taught me as much Japanese as he could. It was hard for me to really speak with other people until recently. Colt only knows English. I think. He doesn’t talk much. Kimi wa nihonjin desuka?”

>>578711 "Why yesu! I am Japanese! Ah! Am i supposed to present my ID and bisa?" >bisa? >does she mean pizza? >oh wait no she means visa right? >damn cute accents! >she awaits the drink
> The bartender wordlessly places her drink in front of her and goes back to cleaning. A man of few words. Fox fills his silence.
“Daijoubu. Police really don’t come to this part of town so you’re safe.”
> Fox then remembers his manners and jumps off his seat, landing softly despite his lilim body.
“Sumimasendeshita! I forgot to introduce myself. Boku wa Ayanami Fox desu. Yoroshukune!”
> he finishes with a slight bow and big smile

>>578837 "Policu toraboru? But did not wantu do illegal things!" >she momentarily looks shocked, before returning to her smile
>then fox jumps out "Wahh!" >startling her even more,so much so that she recoiled out of her char "Ahh!" >after a short pause she picks herself up and dusts herself off "Oh my namu! It is Soleil hoshino Vanderbilt!" >she presents and ID
>wait isn't that the famous Japanese person that came here for vacation!? >i-it cant be right..? >right..?
> Fox's eyes seem to go quite literally blank while he realizes that there are more famous people he knows of in the bar while he's there. He takes a second to intake some extra air and takes another long drink of his beer.
"Uhh wow... We don't get r-really famous people here ever. What are you doing in this part of t-town??"

>>578973 > Fox begins to blush once again and goes to grab his beer, which has now been emptied and replaced with a fringe weaver, as if Colt knew what he wanted. He takes a sip from it and goes to reply
"Oh! Yes! I'm okay, hontoni. You're famous at least to me! And you're just so adorable it's hard to focus is all."
>This might have been true. His 'skin' now looked a little darker than normal. Is he getting drunk?

>>579002 > Fox blushes even more and has a nervous sip of his drink, leaning back slightly before leaning back in
"I'm okay! My programming should hold, for now. But umm.. garden? I don't know of any around here. Maybe in uptown there's one. I might have seen it while on the job."
> Fox loosens up, literally, and some machinery can be heard as his joints release tension. The karmotine is doing its thing

>>579004 "Oh Alrightu! I was supposed to go there to perform..i will find it eventually!">she exclaims in confidence >then the look of confused worry returns "U-uhhmmm...a-are yoi sure you are ok?!" >she recoils at the sound "T-they are OK right?!?" >she turns to the other fellow

>>579075 > Colt just sort of nods. He's seen this before so isn't too concerned. Fox however, becomes confused.
"What's wrong?? I, uh, my joints. They just get stiff. A lilim needs to take care of their body but uh... i keep forgetting?? You've never met a lilim before??"

>>579113 "Mmm..!" >she looks scared >but by the power of foxes inspiration she looks 5 ish points less scared >However it does nothing to aid her temperament
