(News) BTC to ask QUINCY to revoke SLL

| You may know if you're not new to glitch city, but the British Trade Congolmerate (BTC) pretty much owns all the bars safe a few around here, but after what happened between GC and the British last winter QUINCY had stopped their monopoly and started issuing Special Liquor Licenses (SLL) to bar owners around town, this special licensing allows the sale of actual liquor and as such as been slowly overtaking the BTC's profit from Karmotrine sales, much to their displeasure.

| This lead to today where the BTC had announced to their investors that they would come back to GC in strength and reclaim their spot as sole purveyor of amusement and drinks by coaxing QUINCY into revoking the new licenses around town. This would be a good thing for it would lower alcohol trafficking and shady bars could potentially shut down but many were displeased to hear the news, amongst them is Emily Derringer owner of the Midnight Drifter an SLL bar since 2071

| "This place has seen its share and by no means is it shady, mismanaged or damaging, the BTC simply want to run a monopoly and cut back into owner profits" was what the tender as well as owner of 22 years old had to say when asked about the issue before opening her doors to several regulars she knew personally. We also interviewed the HR representative of the Crimson Trading Initiative (CTI) corporation, who are some of the biggest alcohol traders in the world.

| "Well, you see its a complicated issue" he said "See the BTC are good friends to QUINCY, they helped make this town what it is and their words surely weighs a lot, they also pay a lot of taxes and keep down on management costs and are publicly owned... The only problem is that they're running a monopoly, and that the money they pay ends up coming back in form of (gifts' more often than not..."
We also asked if his own corporation had anything to tell QUINCY to sway his decision.

| "Well, you see alcohol is more expensive than your average karmotrine, but the taste is miles above and as such patrons pay more per visit in SLL establishments, which means more taxes and more workers happy after their shifts"
We will keep you all updated!

| I am not one to intervene with silly issues — much less speak a word regarding them — but to see the bar I frequent be threatened in such a way does bring a spark of ire. -Uni
