ANDROMEDA Season to be Cancelled Next Week Due to Falling Ratings

ANDROMEDA, once the premier trideo show or primetime networks city wide is slated for cancellation next week, with its time slots being cannibalized to air more episodes of the DYNAMOFORCE, the STAR has learned.
The show, which has thus far enjoyed more than thirteen seasons of non stop space-based soap opera, was contracted to run for an additional ninety nine seasons, an insider said, but plans to cancel the long running series surfaced as early as a month ago.
"I'm bamboozled- in- in fact, it was the execs- those big wigs, funny heads- that signed off on it, not me!"
Aiden Adirondack, principle auteur of the titular series said. He said that he had fully intended to continue making more episodes and releasing them on the NNN network (QUIDTRID BROADCASTING) and 32nd Century FAUX, (also QUIDTRID BROADCASTING) when he was rudely informed of the impending cancellation through social media.
"T-they can't do this me, you hear!? THEY CAN'T! MY BABY! MY BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Adirondack said over the phone.
In response to the unfortunate announcement, fans the city- and some say, galaxy- over have taken to Matrix forums, hosted meetups, and even resorted to studio vandalism (NEWS, Section C, page 49) in order to voice their displeasure at the cancellation of what was originally a cult classic. On social media, some fans are attempting to set up crowdfunding programs to raise awareness and money to continue the show, but each time, they're hit by a copyright strike- after all, ANDROMEDA's license is still owned by QUIDTRID BROADCASTING.
"We understand how you feel," A. Smith, a PR rep from QUIDTRID said in response to the mass discontent,
"But understand, we have your best interests in heart. By popular demand, there will be even more episodes of the DYNAMOFORCE to enjoy. We look forward to you tuning in on your device of choice, every day, afternoon, and evening."
ANDROMEDA is a syndicated trideo show starring the titular character of ANDROMEDA, a modern day "knight errant" who travels the galaxy on various adventures, meeting both love and disaster which she must then find a way to solve.
DYNAMOFORCE is part of a new universe of superheroic shows about a team of the same name, lead by a man called "HACKERMAN," who do battle against the evil forces of the VARIETY SYNDICATE as they attempt to harm the city (heavily based on Glitch City) for personal gain. They're sometimes joined by "THE FREEDOM WEAR," a group of superheroes identified by one toned clothing that they wear- a source says that a separate trideo series following their exploits is expected to launch sometime next month.
