anime recs?

| i'm looking for animes similar to ergo proxy and lain, please share some!

| Original boogiepop phantom, texnolyze(or however the fuck you write it),original battle angel alita is pretty good cyberpunk but not really like lain, same goes for ghost in the shell.its hard, lain is something special

| >>721557
i'm planning on watching texnolyze sometime soon, and i'll add battle angel and gits to my list. i hear about boogiepop phantom a lot, do you mind giving me a synopsis?

| undertale best anime

| >>721524 Well it you havent seen GitS yet, thats a start. There's enough in that ip to keep you entertained for some time, but its a steady decline in quality. Mardock Scramble is pretty good as well, but it isnt as esoteric as lain, ergo proxy, or gits. solid cyberpunk series though as long as you dont mind a lot of rape

| Mardock Scramble is a disaster, it was financially and critically a failure, I pitty everyone who witnessed this atrocity of an anime. It's not worth being mentioned or even called a cyberpunk!

| Lmfao i love how they asked for a specific kind of anime and folks came in with random ass suggestions

| >>1085ca I didn't even read, but something I learned is that looking for something like X is a waste of time, yesterday I spent my entire day looking for something like Tatami Galaxy, but couldn't find. Then it hit me that I love the anime exactly because it's unique it's the same as Serial experiments lain they're unique.
Said this, if OP is still looking for similar ones I still recommend Welcome to The NHK, it have the same "psychologic" vibe

| >>722381 Yoru wa Mijikashi Aruke yo Otome

Thank me later.

| Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Steins;Gate
Ishuzoku Reviewers

Only the best of the best my friend

| >>1085ca kek yeah but tbf the animes that OP posted, especially Lain is quite unique and old so it is hard to find a similar anime without deviating from the required suggestions

Also watch Steins;Gate

| >>722540 S;G gang

| >>722434 Already watched it, it wasn't as good as tatami Galaxy

| Please watch SHINSEKAI YORI. It's so good..

| Please watch SHINSEKAI YORI. It's so good..

| Please watch SHINSEKAI YORI. It's so good..

| Ah shit sorry i didnt mean to quadrapost or whatever this is

| Shinsekai yori is quite good.
Sora no woto has a similar setting but less violence.
Also watch Kino no Tabi. Both the Original and the Reboot as they're both great!
Then Steins;Gate, AngelBeats, Dantalian no Shoka, Gundam, FMP, Golden Kamuy, Gosick.
If you want to watch something relaxing then watch Hakumei to Mikochi or Yurucamp.

| OP here. I think I was mainly looking for cyberpunk/dystopic anime. Started Psycho Pass last week which I definitely recommend for people who like cyberpunk/future dystopic anime.

Also I've already watched all of S;G and I got the VN earlier this year.

Thanks for all the suggestions even the really off-topic ones, I'm already watching a lot of these or was interested in them.
And please, watch Satoshi Kon's works!! (Perfect Blue is a masterpiece)
