Who wants a yotsuba anime to fill the void?

| I read the manga and thought it would definitely be worth watching if it existed.

| They'd find a way to fuck it up. It's better as a manga.

| >>690781 It's a slice of life with no main story line. As long as it's done by an ok studio it's almost impossible to fuck up. Not that it matters since apparently the author doesn't want an anime adaptation

Azumanga was fine, for example

| Yeah, but the manga has an iconic art style that would need to be copied over tastefully.

| The art is pretty simple the most complicated thing would be doing really detailed backgrounds, but that has been done in a lot of shows especially slice of life.

| Watch animeman about manga that doesn't need to be adapted. Yotsuba is there

| >>690836 How about you tell me why you think it shouldn't be animated cuz I'm not gonna watch that

| nope

| The author himself said the story and style are not suited for anime.
While he could be wrong, it's his vision and i respect that. The manga is great by itself already.

And we still got Azumanga.
Which has a completely different structure than Yotsuba, so that might've been easier to adapt.

| >>690781 "almost impossible to fuck up" is still upfuckable though, no matter the studio.
And no main storyline doesn't mean no story at all. It's not just simple art and detailed backgrounds. What about Scenetransitions for example? Or voiceacting and soundtracks etc.
So many possible fuck ups. Even for a renowned studio.
I think you underestimate a good slice of life anime.

| Ah damn, wrong number.
Post >>692117 was meant for>>690788.
>>690781 is pretty much on point.

| >>692117 but if we follow that logic then no manga should be adapted. I was just going of personal experience since I have never seen people complain about the adaptation of a slice of life manga, but I did over simplified what it takes to make a good show.
